my post op is as follows - 2-3 weeks liquids then 2 weeks Purees then 2 weeks soft foods...im looking at the following and have shopped and pre-shopped (on-line for delivery in the next few weeks lol)
Liquids (I am to make these thicker in the 3rd week, add thicker soups etc)
- Soups (strained or clear)
- smoothies
- Slimfast shakes
- Protein shakes
- tea n coffee
- custard
- mousses
- yoghurt's
Purees (including above list and adding)
- thicker soups
- stewed apples/pears etc
- custard
- rice pudding
- Scrambled eggs
- tuna mayo
- sloppy mash
- creamed corn (makes yummy Chinese soup)
- mashed banana (in custard )
Soft foods (All of above and adding)
- Mince and mash
- fish pie (mash not pastry)
- poached eggs
- poached fish
- casseroles (meat cut tiny)
- stews (meat cut tiny)
- cod in sauce
- fish soups
Its going to be hard I know but not as hard as trying to by a nice looking swimsuit !!!!!:cry::cry:
and hopefully the results will be good as after the soft stage I will be on holiday in Cyprus for 8 days then home to my first fill....when its back to the soft stuff and purees again I guess
