Do Diabetics Dump?

9 sounds quite high. My last 3 Hba1c were 6.5, 6.5 and 7.5, and I still have early retinopathy (hence my decision for WLS as a "cure" ) Im on metformin.

Im only not taking my insulin until i get to see my diabetic nurse after my op. Shes so busy I cant get an appointment for 3 weeks, but she had made a telephone appointment to speak to me tomorrow. After reading all these posts she may put me on metformin.
