I got told 6 weeks for my stockings, spoke to my nurse earlier and she asked if I still had them on, said no, told her because they were tight on ankles and my feet were always too cold, she said as long as I was mobile it's okay, but speak to your own providers... X

Hi Janey I just had my bypass 24hrs ago and can't believe how well I actually feel. But rewind to getting myself settled on the strange theatre bed my whole body shook I am not kidding. I got so cold and freaked out. All I can say is you will be well looked after and it's no where near as bad as you imagine. You will be fine. Good luck hon x

I was like that, got into the room before the theatre and started shaking terribly, I've never shook like that before! It was like I was having a panic attack!! Took ages to calm down! X

Glad it wasn't just me then but it was bloody scary. Knowing what I do now there was no founded reason for it, just my own self perpetuating fear x

I was nervous but jokey . The anaesthetist was having a joke saying he hadn't had his lunch n had given it up for me I went right back by saying I hadn't eaten this year ! )) a bit of fun helped me n I was then zonked out woke up in a comfy air bed with leg massagers on, really spoiled, bless them .

hello everyone sounds like your all doing well just had shower lots of bruises thet tried 5 canulars in one arm and managed to get 2 in the other !!!! I was told stocking on for 3 weeks same length as jabs surprised your jabs are only for 2 weeks ali x

How different are we all!!! I had a nice shower of everything except tummy. Lush. Have a sore bum n a friend brought me in skin healing stuff , so will go to bed tonight with bum showing lol

Does anyone have any tips to shift this wind? I was doing great 99% of wind was gone was feeling good then BAM agonising wind pain in my chest and throat and can't get proper breaths. I'm constantly walking around trying to shift it but it's kept me up all night. I'm drinking peppermint tea, getting slapped on the back like a big baby AND I resorted to sitting with my back jammed against the washing machine while it was on full spin I feel it rising in my throat as if I'm going to burp n then it just goes away again just cannot seem to break it. I'm in agony any suggestions? xx

Feel so much better after my bm. May even consider trying on clothes for size etc later. Put this lounge suit on for first time getting dressed n it's a 16/18 tescos from previous slimmer days.
It surely must be stretchy as I'm not a 16/8 yet lol. Nice tho.

I've been 3 times lol don't seem to have much trouble down that end just can't seem to burp. Xx
