Hi there

I had a sleeve gastrectomy on the 5/2 and I have lost my first stone! Delighted and not nearly as awful as I had been expecting. Saw my nurse specialist today and I'm now allowed to introduce purée and mush! Never thought I would be so happy to be allowed mush but I'm so looking forward to anything that isn't soup or slimfast.

How is everyone doing? Well day 4 post op feeling good! Managing more fluid! Have to say looking forward to purée stage already lol! Kaps hope you are well???? Westiedog?

All this having surgery this week please don't panic it's not as bad as you think! The first few hours after perhaps but you have morphine so just enjoy! I am already laughing at my photo taken just as I got back to my room!

Newbie bypassers.............I'm having mine day after tomorrow .........did you have a catheter, NGH tube, morphine injections or pump? And how long were you in for?

I had none of them, wax on Iv fluids day of op and overnight x

Hi! Good luck! You must be excited! I had ngv tube I believe! No catheter! Was on morphine pump after just until following morning then it was calpol! Only in two nights! No where near as bad as I expected !

I was told I could drive two days after my band. There is no way I could drive then. Waited 5 days x

I had mine last Thursday at spire with Mr van den bossche!! Don't be scared no where near like I thought it would be! Any questions just ask!

Hi Lynne and westiedog ....sleeved OK. Hospital had poor coverage. 6 days out.. 6 kgs down. Feeling good. Travelling to New Delhi... Further updates as soon as I reach. Take care all.

Westiedog feeling ok just struggling with this liquid diet as not really found anything I actually enjoy! Roll on puree! How are you?
