You're not useless and you're not a failure! It takes some time to get your head around how the band works. If your food choices are good and you're eating dry, solid food and still feel hungry i'd say you haven't got very good restriction yet. But, if you're eating slider foods then you have to look at that...because we can all eat slider foods all the time and never lose weight! Its a shame your provider doesn't give you adequate support - although I would say my provider has also said that I have to make some effort as well by choosing the correct foods.I got told off last time by my nurse for taking too many slider foods such as mashed potato and eating things with sauces.
