Food Ideas, Weight Loss Has stopped!!

Hi everyone, my weight loss has come to a complete halt :sigh: I had a fill 2 weeks ago but I rang THG today and begged them for another fill so they are giving me 1ml extra on saturday :woohoo: I have had a look back at my food intake over this past few weeks and im eating the same thing nearly everyday for lunch and breakfast :eek: this isn't very good and Liz pointed out that this can cause weight loss to slow down or stop which it has unfortunately.
Im a good cook and will give most things a try, im a busy mum with 3 young children so lunch tends to be something handy ie ham & beetroot!!

Can any of you recommend anything nice for lunch, there isn't anything at the minute that I cant eat so all suggestions are welcome

I have 4ml's in a 10ml band

Hi Kate, have you tried having a different protien for lunch such as prawns or some other kind of fish. If you alternate it with fish one day and meat another. Get the eggs in as well if you like omelettes have it with cheese. It does seem that the protien gives the weight loss a kick start again.
 
Im not too sure what banders can or cannot eat, but i have a few suggestions at tasty lunches:

- 1/2 eggs (scrambled, or dry fried, i.e. no fat, just heat up a pan and crack the egg in to cook, i do it on like a george forman machine), 1 piece of toast (dry), and a few baked beans (could also add a lil bit of cheese on the beans for extra yum yum).

- Toast with beans and cheese (OMG YUMMM)

- A meat (like fish) with some boiled/steamed veg.

- A baked potatoe (in microwave takes like 10 mins) with any filling.

- Cheese on toast.

lol, i can seem to think of anymore, like i say, im not sure what you can or cannot eat but just wanted to give you some suggestions.

As you know I am no expert as I haven't had any surgery...but I'm sure beetroot is full of sugar, so perhaps that's pushing your carb intake through the roof.

protien 1st less carbs no 1 rule, ne bread rice or pasta if can be helped x

OMG I did not know beetroot contained sugar :copon: I thought I was being good having it!! Cheers Snowcrystal x
