Mine was at 11 this morning... it didn't go too badly. I was fine until they got the needle out. *shudder* My veins are deep, small and like to roll a lot, so I was NOT looking forward to having bloods taken. The nurse ended up having to call the duty doctor in to do it 'cause about 10 minutes she couldn't get it. Even then it took the doc 20 minutes to get it done.

How'd yours go?

Tomorrow is the big day! I'm excited but oh so very nervous. Early to rise as I have to be there at 7am! I'm first on the table for the day. Good thoughts please!

Thanks. The surgeon came to see me yesterday and said that my stomach had been ginormous (and he actually used that word) but that it isn't any longer! lol I feel quite sore and don't enjoy getting in and out of bed so I'm trying the chair for a bit. I can't seem to keep down as much as they think I should, though I am trying!
Is it weird that I'm watching the food network?

Ha, ha I actually commented to my husband just how many food programmes were on the telly because it's all I seemed to watch in hospital!

Good vibes for your preop then! I'm not too bad actually. Been walking like crazy, but haven't yet been able to get down the amount they want me to, though I am trying! I'm VERY warm. I keep having to open my window, but my temperature is fine, so it's not that. I think my body is just trying to 'fix' itself so it's working overtime. That and the amount I've been walking is probably keeping things warmer. And other than the surgeon confirming that there's no way I could have lost weight on my own with a stomach that 'ginormous' working against me, things went well.
