Wooo! Lovely ring, and lovely nails!! And a lovely lady - the OH I am sure is very proud to be on your journey with you. 15 Stone! That is an immense achievement xxx

Thanks all :)

I went to London on Friday. For the first time ever, I walked around all day taking in the sights...Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, The Eye, Big Ben....sit down for half an hour so the kids could have a Happy Meal and then off again around China Town, Oxford Street, up to Camden and then Westfields Shopping Centre before home at 9.30pm.

As I sat in the car and settled down for the journey home, 2 things hit me. 1). A year ago, I wouldn't have even made it from the car to the underground. 2). My arse was killing me as soon as I sat down, so I am now far more comfortable standing up!

Both are amazing changes. I love my little pouch :)

Amazing Ceecie on all counts. You look fabulous. Good luck with the dress hunting I am sure you will find the right one, sometimes we have to search and sometimes we can just go and find the very one. Enjoy the planning and exploring what we see in our bodies is not what others see, our minds are warped and give us a distorted view of whats real. Stick with it. Pleased you had a great time in London I hated the bum pain really awful that you do get rid of it but it takes a long time. xxx

Whoop whoop hun you are doing fantastic and just look at skinny you now :D ...well proud of you xx

Thanks ladies. It's amazing that I chose to go ahead with the bypass without knowledge of how great life could be. If only I'd known.....!!

Thanks ladies. It's amazing that I chose to go ahead with the bypass without knowledge of how great life could be. If only I'd known.....!!

I think after years and years of living life as a "large person" & with all the limitations of it we forget how living life should really be. Tbh I don't think I ever knew. Up until the last 15 years of being morbidly obese I was an active person doing normal things. Working full time, cycling, swimming going to the gym raising a family of three BUT there was still restrictions that were solely down to my size. A simple cold would mean a raging chest infection and an asthma flare. Restaurants where the bane of my life. When my heart started showing signs of deterioration I was told I couldn't do the treadmill as part of the stress test because it couldn't take my weight... God I can still feel my cheeks burn with the embarrassment. I still needed that awful belt extension in the car or on airplanes and I still couldn't get the table down on a flight. My joints and spine where agony & normal clothes were a pipe dream. So as much as I thought I was normal & "active" I clearly was nowhere near it.
Every new discovery or experiance that the "normal" person takes for granted is a mind blowingly amazing feeling. Enjoy it ceecie there will be plenty more to come yet :D xx

Ok ladies, HONEST OPINIONS PLEEEEEASE!!
