Hello & welcome :) Good luck with your op next week x

Hello?
Thanks so much for replying. I have to admit I'm a little concerned I've made the right choice. Have you had surgery? Do you regret it?

Hi and welcome, I am a newbie too and I have my band on Tuesday next week so I can completely sympathise with you being on the pre op. I have three days left of this milk and yoghurt and cannot wait to have something different. It's very very hard isn't it. I knew it would be but still. X

Hi Peaches nice to talk to you, I had a bypass last August at Sunderland Royal North East England. It was a long road to egt there but have done really well with relatively no problems at all only constipation, for which I now take daily dose of prune juice which helps a lot. Ask whatever you want and people will try to answer truthfully, whenever you go to hospital I would ahve a little list of things you would like to ask because with every good intention we still for get to ask when we are there. Whatever you decide people on here will support you however and wherever you need. Don't be afraid to ask anything, it'll either be a question we asked ourselves or a question someone needs the answer to and wasn't brave enough to ask so go ahead, whenever you are ready . xx

Welcome peaches. Enjoy your journey :)

Welcome peahes, not long now! make yourself at home, you will soon come to love it here. keep us updated on your progress :) x

Welcome to a great support network.
You are bound to have last minute niggles we all do. I have friends who have asked if I could do this small quantity diet without the surgery, the answer is no. We are in this situation coz were foodies, the op is a tool, it can be abused, so you will learn to eat & chew well and the results will be amazing.
Best wishes xx

Good luck. I'll be 4 weeks post op on Monday. Still getting used to my 'new insides', but loving the inches lost. Don't know how much I've lost as I still hate the scales and haven't been near them but I've been measuring myself instead.

Hi chris I'm just down the road from you hope I can ask you some questions when I need to you look fantastic its making me feel very positive xx
