Hi, I'm Kirsty, banded August 2014. My post op dairy

Thank you all for your words of wisdom girls xxx

Did make up at 1pm and went out for the day

I just have to toughen up. He does not see why I get upset. So As a couple of you said. Care less about them and more about me. I have just worked so hard to have a good relationship with them. But if anything goes wrong I always end up the bad guy. It's just do unfair. But new me!!! If I disengage I am less likely to get hurt

Not had a great food day. Well actually I have. Had a gorgeous lamb shank for lunch....but a couple of glasses of wine. Lindsay also brought in an expensive red as a peace offering - no breakfast and planning on oatcakes and Philly for supper with a couple of glasses of that gorgeous red....I am just telling myself I am on holiday and will get back on track when i get home on Friday

So removed my dressings today. Wounds feel really tender today. Lindsay said its phycosomatic (sp)

Went out to the Devils Porridge museum today - absolutely amazing!!!! Google it girls

So here is a photo of my bloated swollen belly lol

Sooo sooooooo constipated today. Had to go digging TMI!!!! not been like this since my last surgery ;-(

Nite nite girls xx

Had to go digging.... Pmsl.... Yet again I thought I was the only one x class

That must have brought a tear to your eye, I felt you could smell and feel the war years in there, if you know what I mean.
Lots of history and hard work, for both men and women.

Yesterday we went to Grimsby to the Time Trap museum, and this took you right back to the old police cells, and once again back in time to the war years. Only small but packed in a lot.

must a pity all these plans are a bit expensive. But I suppose they have to survive

I have been wanting to see this museum fir a couple of years before it moved to east riffs actually it used to be on the way to Carlisle and befor that was seemingly just an exhibit in annan town hall I think
It's amazing that people don't know about it considering it played such s big part in our ww1 victory. I couldn't believe it was the biggest munitions facility in the world!!!

The Grimsby museum sounds amazing as well. Another one I loved was in York I live to get a vision f how life was in the past

Hi Kirsty

Hope your well this morning.
If you like these kind of museums, if you ever go on holiday to Bridlington etc all that coast line is very good.
Go to Malton to the Eden Camp war museum, really is a good day out.
One part you are standing in a street, where bombs and fire and house's are falling down around you, make's it feel like you were in world war 2.

Have a good day xx

Hey lovely lady glad your starting to see that you need to start putting you before others who don't consider you in the kind way you do them xxx

Invest less and accept people may not give you the return you seek x

When wounds are a little damp I feel very lose dressings to let air in dried mine out . After surgery I would shower with sealed dressings on then sleep in clean bed without any, reapplying new one next day x

Scars 9 months on fir me .... 3 virtually invisible ( under middle of bra, 2 x upper abdomen and the 2 lower abdomen ones gone from angry deep red purple to light purple in colour)

Xx

Hi Kirsty, I'm just catching up with diaries.

Hope you're having a lovely time away.

Sorry to hear your stepkids are less than friendly. It's so hard with some step families. I've got a stepmum and we get on great. She makes my dad happy and that's all that matters.

Have a brilliant week :) xxx

Still a bit tender don't remember it taking so long to get back to normal after my last surgery. That's a week past Wednesday now

Back on track food wise for the past couple of days after my few days away. So hope the scales will be kind to me next Saturday. Lost nine last week but gained two from my time away...lunches out and wine x. Any normal eating was going to pile it in after such a drastic speedy loss.

So all good guys. Hope it is where you are xx

Well done Kirsty, starting to come off now all down hill.

Will take longer this time, you have had to ops in the same place nearly, you brave girl.

take care xx

Surgery was two weeks tomorrow - back to work today. I walked croy hill for the first time since surgery at 7am this morning. It was a killer. It's amazing how quickly you can loose your fitness

I'm tired already and it's not even 10am lol

Have a good day out there peeps xx

I have the two incisions on top of the old ones. I think this may be the problem old scar tissue is taking longer to heal :-(

Morning Kirsty

Hope works going down well.

I should inmagine, it's going to take a few weeks before the soreness and bruising starts to settle down.

You take care, and dont be over doing it xx
