EXCITEDBUTNERVOUS - you should watch this guys cd on Utube it's over 4 parts maybe last 29 mins. Revelation stuff has really kicked my flaunting of the 20 20 20 rule as up till now I have always wolfed my food and binged - not now - way too scared lol x

Yip this was Defo the 20 20 20 rule of 15 years ago according to Lindsay - thank god he's getting old now!!!! I'm with Daisy on the hot drink and a bar of chocolate rule ;-)

SURGERY ONE YEAR AGO TODAY!
A year ago today I went into the Nuffield in Glasgow weighing 14st 4lbs having lost 15 and a half pounds on my pre op diet
Today I weigh 12st 10 and a quarter lbs
Disappointed - hell yes!
1 did get down to 11.7 but have gained a substantial amount of weight. My band leak could be used as a reason or excuse but I shoveled the food in
So today - how do I feel? Peed off but hopefull. Today is the new start of my weight loss journey and will only be what I make it. I am starting g again but without the honeymoon period as a buffer and I know what a hard slog I have in front of me- but with a working band I can do this
If someone had asked would I pay what I did and put myself through that surgery to get a couple of stones off the answer would have been a loud no!
Do I regret my WLS - no. I am sitting at a size 18 instead of a 22/24 and had been down to a 14/16 but I am disappointed in the way things have gone this far
Sharon and Karina my surgery buddies both also reaching a year this week, I could not have done this with out you
My surgery has let me meet so many new friends so far most social media friends but hopefully over time more of us can meet up
I have been fortunate to meet up with Alfie, Dave, Pippa and more regularly Sharon and for that I feel blessed
What a year - a roller coaster with all the ups and downs

You have hIt the reset button and there is no reason why your band would not repay you with good weight loss if you work it.
One stone three pounds is not a substantial amount of regain hun. 17 pounds can be gone in a matter of weeks. By xmas you can be in that little black dress

This is the beginning of the rest off your weightloss! You have still done fantastic despite not having a fully functional band, that's even more amazing! How great is it going to be when ur super loser with your new restriction!!!
