It was literally my first reaction to go home and eat. What am I going to do without food? How do other people cope? I am an emotional eater, and I've had the same coping mechanism since I was four.
I'm afraid that's one of those things you have to figure out for yourself and find out what helps you cope in a way other than eating your feelings. The fact you know that's what your first instinct is though is half the battle I use different stuff from colouring to meditating but it's a personal thing.
