oh eck I saw them in Dec and was told 6 week wait to hear from PCT...... maybe I should give them a call this week see if they have it?!?!

I pestered my hospital until they got sick of me Give them a call to see if your funding has come through? You never know you might be lucky and they might give you a date over the phone hun. xx

I called my PCT today and know they have sent the approval letter so will be giving Heartlands a call tomorrow. Thanks for the advice..... I'm sooooo glad I called.... can't stop smiling!!!!

I spoke with loads from there today and they have received my approval letter and are just waiting for Mr Super to do his next lot of bookings. Dates booked up so far are to mid april so secretary said it would be late april early may. I then spoke to bookings dept and they took my details for any cancellations......WOOOHOOOOO

God, I wish I could answer from Heartlands. I saw Mr Richardson on december 3rd and my funding is already in place. He said my op would be end of feb but still haven't heard anything. Have rang several times. Last thursday I was told that she would email the surgeon and ring me back as soon as he answered his mail with my pre-op and op date but still nothing.
Whats your secret for getting answers from these people?? I need to know...hehe.
Good luck with getting your date sorted soon xx

Leanne... I emailed the co-ordinator and complained and within 2 hours I had Admisions on the phone with a date.. then Mr Richardsons secretary phoned me with the date, but I told her I'd already had a phone call from admisions 10 minutes earlier...then the co-ordinator emailed me with the date... lol

Give them another phone call and see what they say?

I wouldn't mind waiting but they shouldn't give you an approximate date if they have no intention of sticking to it I don't think. If I don't get any joy I will ask you for the email address of the co-ordinator if thats ok xx

Yes that's fine hun... I nearly posted it last night with the phone numbers but thought best not due to us both being with the same consultant.. I didn't want to get into trouble just in case.. lol

Really hope you get some joy on Thursday & if you or Rache need a visitor while your in just ask.. I only live 10 minutes away from the hospital. xx

Yesterday evening I phoned home to my son to see if the letter had arrived from the hospital and it had. The phone call cost me £6 as I am currently still in Tenerife on holiday & used my mobile.

Well the letter has my pre-op as 8th Feb and 2 operation dates... 4th Feb and the 8th March... Grrrrrr :d'oh:

I've sent a email this morning asking which are the right dates as I was told the 1st March *sigh*
