I found that at first Paul, and couldn't figure out what was going wrong.

But don't worry, its only because you're new. Once you get to 20 posts, some of the private stuff will open up to you.

I wanted to add a "Goals List" to my signature and couldn't figure out why I couldn't do it (I've seen other people with a Goals List) - turns out that you only get a minimum number of characters to play with in the signature until you hit 20 posts - then you get a bit more.

Same again at 50 posts - I think the rest of the private stuff opens up, yet more characters in the signature to play with, and other privileges. Presumably full privileges at 50 posts???

:)

A bit like a game then , the more you play the more your rewarded .........many thanks , im sure il get the hang of it

Hi if you thank people on their post I think that's how you bump up,your activity and keep posting and asking questions. Do each on a single it all adds up to your posts and will open up the full access. Hope that helps you

Thanks Mouse, I didn't realise that :)

so what will you change your name to when you are on 'the other side' as clearly the current one won't work :) :)

Well Debs for many years iv been known as BIG PAUL , at my local there were 3 or 4 Pauls in the Bar so I got stuck with BIG PAUL ........my aim is to walk back in and be called PAUL ............thatl be so nice .........as you all know , as you put weight on the first thing people say when they see you is ooooh youv put a bit on ......iv had that year after year for 20 years ........looking forward to the day when them same people dont recognise me !!!!!

Paul - that's a nice aim! I have some similar ones - mainly not to have to play the role of the jolly fat bird who tells jokes - mainly at own expense.
It's good to have some non weight loss goals I guess - I wish you every luck in just being Paul :)

Well as im disabled itl mainly be sitting , driving there and walk to the seat and thats it , will have to give it serious consideration tho
you said you would be driving?, you cant drive until you can do emergency stop. I couldn't drive for over 2 weeks
good luck

Hi and welcome! I'm 11 days post bypass and have only really turned the corner this weekend. It doesn't Take much activity to feel wiped out and for my wounds (internally) to start to hurt. You probably won't be driving in the first week either, depending on what your team says- some advice is not to drive for 6 weeks. So in short, I'd give the footy a miss the weekend after... At 6 days post op chances are you'll still be in a fair amount of pain and feel about as strong as bambi! But recovery does speed up after that

Katyloo ......thanks for advice on going to Footy , its defo cancelled now ,.....so from op to now (11days) how have you found it food wise , mental wise , and any weight loss in those 11 days ? Now can I ask anybody , I see on Amazon etc there are books on cooking after surgery and life after surgery etc , are these worth buying or just a waste of time .........I want to do this all correctly and if books help then il get them , many thanks

Hi go to wwwbaritriccookery.com and get them from there, I have bought both and I wish I had found them before surgery they are cheaper on the site and you can get free recipes. I've used a lot of them and they are great meals. Well worth the money
