No Jac before you start I have had others its just this one was all by myself and I could bend and do my feet!No discomfort or dragging around the hernia repair, hoorah. Each day is so much better than the last.Must admit I weighed myself and not lost anything, but i feel like the shrinking woman, clothes hanging all over the place!Ive put on an old pair of m+s pants in size 16,granted they have elastic waistband but hey they are 16s!:D

LOL @ Kevin !! I never thought it was the best decade for fashion, but apparently it's this year's trend, so way to go girls ! Personally I won't be getting out my cheesecloth shirts and bellbottom trousers tho'...

Yeah cheesecloths and loons, velvet jackets,Jesus sandals and Afghan coats that smelt like old camels when wet!

... floppy hats, platform shoes, oversized sunglasses.... !

floppy hats, platform shoes, oversized sunglasses.... !
Sounds like posh spice at the moment!

I hated the 70's - Much more of a new romantic 80's girl. Now that was a decade..!

Maz if you wear cheesecloth for Llandudno your getting a slap and sent home!!
Well done on the shower, on your lonesome! Bet the window cleaner is chuffed he only has the windows to do now :D XX

What's all this... haha... Maz are you using your scrim for the windows?

Are you wearing cheesecloth for Llandudno... haha... Jac will be leaving you at the Punch and Judy party on the prom... xxx

Aww I was a peace loving hippy!I lived in cheesecloth maxi skirts and tops, sandals and beads.Long wavy blond hair god I thought I was gorgeous!

Post us a pic Maz... we've all got stories to tell.. haha... I remember having a Purdy cut... but I didn't look like Joanna Lumley... haha... xxx

I loved the 70s........but more the glam rock.......glitter in my hair......and platforms, I loved my platforms! Being only 5 feet tall! Goodness knows how I managed to stay upright in them though!

I loved my platforms too. The first pair of shoes I went out and bought myself, without my mother, was a pair of platform wedge clogs in red, yellow and green ! And I swore they were the most comfortable shoes I'd ever worn !! LOL

My cousin fell off her platforms and broke her ankle...

I love the clogs that were all the rage,I worked in Saxone the shoe shop as a saturday girl and loved trying all the new ranges on.I remember the white plastic pull up kinky boots with mock laces up the front, god they cut into your legs, then leather platform boots that went over the knee!I fell in love with a pair of Dolly shoes, very round toe low heel and a strap over the instep in bright green! And espadrille wedges, you wore them out and all the rope at the side fell off!I got married in a green maxi with matching floppy hat and white platform shoes! George had a pinstripe suit with lapels that reached either shoulder and platform shoes,we still have my hat and his suit. His waist was 32in!It wouldnt go on one leg now.lolMaz x
