25/10/18 4th & last app on tier 3. Asked what I was eating and how my diet had changed in 6 months. I said I was sticking to a 1500 calorie diet as much as I can. Was told I would be discussed at this weeks MDT meeting, if all goes well, I'll meet the MDT in 3 months and 2 months after that I'll meet the surgeon and be put on a waiting list. Was weighed - 24st 5lb.
01/11/18 Got my appointment through for MDT meeting and surprisingly also my Anaesthetics appointment for the same day which will be 25/01/19.
30/11/18 Another appointment through for the 25/01/19 to have an Echocardiogram eek!
02/12/18 Received copy of letter L&D sent to my GP signing me off T3 & asking for a repeat of medical details they've already had! to enable progression onto T4. 25/01/19 Appointments for Echocardiogram & ECG all normal. MDT meetings with bariatric nurse, dietician & phycologist & met anesthetist. All of them are meeting today to discuss my case. Weight today 23st 6lb. 31/01/19 Got letter for date to see surgeon on 15/03/19 20/02/19 Got letter canceling my surgeons appointment until 22/03/19 So annoyed, can't make that date. 23/02/19 Got letter from Consultant Anaesthetist giving me the all clear for surgery. 04/03/19 Got letter confirming new surgeon appointment on 29/03/19 29/03/19 met Mr. Jumbulingham and he gave me a date for surgery 16/04/19 followed by an impromptu pre-op, checked bloods, MRSA swabs, ECG, BP, weight, height and a more in depth chat with the baratric nurse about LRD, post op medication, post op diet etc. Was given post op medications; 2 anti clotting injections and 2 x 2 anti nausea tablets. 02/04/19 start 2 weeks Liver Reducing Milk Diet. 16/04/19 Operation day, admission 11am, weight 21st 9lb, operation time 3.30pm, ended up with a RNY Gastric bypass, an umbilical hernia repair and an additional hiatus hernia repair, all went well, but had quite a lot of gas pain after, was back in recovery by 7pm. Was discharged home on 17/04/19. At home 18/04/19 weighed myself, 22st 2lb, put on 7lbs due to surgery. 29/05/19 Go to Luton for 6 weeks check up, saw nurse. Weight 20st 5lb. 8 weeks post op weight is 20st 1lb so I've lost 1st 8lb since surgery. 16/06/19 First long awaited target acheived...Finally under 20 stone weighing in at 19st 12lb. 23/07/19 Luton 3 month check up, feel like it's a been a compete waste of time, suppose to have blood test, but he was so late seeing me (1hr 15 mins late) because he thought I didn't turn up so told me to have blood test done with GP. I'm so angry. Weight today 19st 3lb. 6/8/19 First Blood test & B12 jab, also hair loss has started. *UPDATE* Hair loss lasted about 2 months, wasn't severe, I took high strength biotin and used biotin & collegan shampoo. 30/10/19 Luton 6 month check up and blood test. Found out last blood test was normal. I've lost 38% of my excess weight since surgery. Today I weighed 17st 9lb. 4 stone lost since surgery. No complications to report 28/04/20 One Year check up appointment over phone. Weight 15st12lb. She said 2st 8lb lost since last appointment.... it's not it's 1st 11lb. Asked usual questions. Told her about my stinging & pressure pains on my hip area.

Weight 20st 5lb. 8 weeks post op weight is 20st 1lb so I've lost 1st 8lb since surgery. 16/06/19 First long awaited target acheived...Finally under 20 stone weighing in at 19st 12lb. 23/07/19 Luton 3 month check up, feel like it's a been a compete waste of time, suppose to have blood test, but he was so late seeing me (1hr 15 mins late) because he thought I didn't turn up so told me to have blood test done with GP. I'm so angry. Weight today 19st 3lb. 6/8/19 First Blood test & B12 jab, also hair loss has started. *UPDATE* Hair loss lasted about 2 months, wasn't severe, I took high strength biotin and used biotin & collegan shampoo. 30/10/19 Luton 6 month check up and blood test. Found out last blood test was normal. I've lost 38% of my excess weight since surgery. Today I weighed 17st 9lb. 4 stone lost since surgery. No complications to report 28/04/20 One Year check up appointment over phone. Weight 15st12lb. She said 2st 8lb lost since last appointment.... it's not it's 1st 11lb. Asked usual questions. Told her about my stinging & pressure pains on my hip area.
23/02/18 Doctor refers me AGAIN for WLS. Heaviest weight approx. 31st
17/04/18 1st app at Luton & Dunstable hospital - 28st 9lb. Put on their 6 month tier 3 program.
08/06/18 Start 4 week milk diet - 28st 2lb
11/07/18 2nd app & end of milk diet - 26st 5lb
12/07/18 Start Food Reintroduction Plan
31/08/18 3rd app, Asked what I was eating & weighed me - 24st 13lb
25/10/18 4th & last app on tier 3. Asked what I was eating and how my diet had changed in 6 months. I said I was sticking to a 1500 calorie diet as much as I can. Was told I would be discussed at this weeks MDT meeting, if all goes well, I'll meet the MDT in 3 months and 2 months after that I'll meet the surgeon and be put on a waiting list. Was weighed - 24st 5lb.
01/11/18 Got my appointment through for MDT meeting and surprisingly also my Anaesthetics appointment for the same day which will be 25/01/19.
30/11/18 Another appointment through for the 25/01/19 to have an Echocardiogram eek!
02/12/18 Received copy of letter L&D sent to my GP signing me off T3 & asking for a repeat of medical details they've already had! to enable progression onto T4. 25/01/19 Appointments for Echocardiogram & ECG all normal. MDT meetings with bariatric nurse, dietician & phycologist & met anesthetist. All of them are meeting today to discuss my case. Weight today 23st 6lb. 31/01/19 Got letter for date to see surgeon on 15/03/19 20/02/19 Got letter canceling my surgeons appointment until 22/03/19 So annoyed, can't make that date. 23/02/19 Got letter from Consultant Anaesthetist giving me the all clear for surgery. 04/03/19 Got letter confirming new surgeon appointment on 29/03/19 29/03/19 met Mr. Jumbulingham and he gave me a date for surgery 16/04/19 followed by an impromptu pre-op, checked bloods, MRSA swabs, ECG, BP, weight, height and a more in depth chat with the baratric nurse about LRD, post op medication, post op diet etc. Was given post op medications; 2 anti clotting injections and 2 x 2 anti nausea tablets. 02/04/19 start 2 weeks Liver Reducing Milk Diet. 16/04/19 Operation day, admission 11am, weight 21st 9lb, operation time 3.30pm, ended up with a RNY Gastric bypass, an umbilical hernia repair and an additional hiatus hernia repair, all went well, but had quite a lot of gas pain after, was back in recovery by 7pm. Was discharged home on 17/04/19. At home 18/04/19 weighed myself, 22st 2lb, put on 7lbs due to surgery. 29/05/19 Go to Luton for 6 weeks check up, saw nurse.
