Lmao! Yeah we can go all together. well I can honestly say, I have never heard of Arnica, So! I will have to have a look around for some. It might come in handy with all those needles we have to do afterwards. Which am not looking forward to. I told my husband if you hurt me, I can hurt you back twice-fold. lol x

When you have Major surgery lisa. You have to inject yourself for about 10 to 14 days after your opp. I think its a blood thinning drug. not looking forward to that, I have needle phobia :(

hiya Kat, How's you? hope your knee is better. Not long now for us x
Hey ya Caraline,
How are you doing? Are you getting nervous or mega excited?
Yes yes soon it will be our turn ( yay followed with a close :argh: nervous now, but can not wait until we are out the other side and done and getting on with living with the changes. I have started the milk diet today. Just one day early as worrying about my liver too! Had a couple of naughties since pre op. small fish and chips yesterday. So thought I should just start the milk diet before I get tempted again. Fingers crossed..

Knee is healing well thank you hon. Still on crutches and not been on the bike since the last dislocation but going to do the rhythm rocker today just the seated stuff to get everything working a bit.

Are you starting the milk diet tomorrow?

Audrey,
Sing in your head to yourself it will help you calm down. aww hon try and relax. It will be worth it. Think about all the parts of your life you will be happier once you get weight under control and all the changes you are going to do after. OR think of new clothes and holidays then you will have happy dreams when you go to sleep.
Chin up luv. Soon it will all be behind you and you can get on with living your life healthier and happier.
take care and I will look for you again later on today.. You are not alone. Wishing you all the best and I am
sure it will get better hon. Focus on the after.
Huge hug

In a small voice asking 'wont an asprin do the trick instead?'

Hate needles. In the hospital they normall put one of them iv things in so all the rest of the needles go into that so you dont feel it.

No one mentioned having to inject ourselves with meds at the pre op to me! I would of remembered that. Is it part of the treatment or optional?

Aspirin is an NSAID, which bypassers are unable to take post op.
