Kirsty thank you so much. I don't have diary yet, I've not be brave enough. I might start one over the next few days. I've been using Nov surgeries. But uncomfortable but bearing up x

hay guys. how is ur appitite post band? im guna ring aftercare later coz mine has come back. im managing to keep cals at a max of 1000 per day but its a struggle. keeping portions to half a bowl full and it does fill me but within a couple of hrs im a bit peckish again. realy bad at scale watching (everyday) yeaterday id put on 1/2lb. but today lost 1lb from yesterday. (1stone 5 1/2 since start of lsd). I no I sound ungreatful for having it done.I promose im not. but I thought it wud have made more of a dif to appitite only being 10days post op.
u all sound like ur doing so well and sticking to the rules. i juat feel so lost x

sorry one more question. I did ask my care coordinator but the didnt say. with all of u with THG how did u get ur appointment for ur first fill. I javnt heard anything? thanx and sory x

Hi jlb

It's totally normal for ur appitite to come back I am exactly the same hungry couple of hours after eating I'm just trying to be carefull what I eat.my provider said the first 5 weeks aren't about losing weight but our tummy healing if u lose weight it's a bonus.
You will get a phonecall for your fill appointment, you usually have your fill 5 weeks post op

thanku so much mrs q u realy have put my mind at rest. I honestly thought I had done something wrong or something and have been realy freeking out.lol. at least I know if I just stick to keeping cals down and stick to sloppy food I shud be ok. phew! good luck with ur first fill.not long to wait!

I know that feeling. my only reminder without looking at the scates is the stinging pain sometimes in what im guessing is my port site.
so thankful for this site for reasurance.

Even after your fill you may still feel hungry. I can eat, though I try not to a full plate of dinner or a full English breakfast. I am going for my 2nd fill next week. I am three months tomorrow since op and right now I could eat my fingers I'm so hungry. The banders talk about finding the "sweet spot" when your fill level is just right and gives you good restriction

I guess its just reasuring to know im not the only one and restroction isnt instant. I do get fuller quicker but itd a dif type of full and doesnt last long. good luck with ur 2nd fill x
