To tomorrow i have a blood test for before the op so will be going to the clinic for that, then im getting the acrylic soaked off my nails ready for next week.
Im back to work friday for three days so that should keep me occupied.

yeah Katrina, last few things to do before the big day!!

I found as work been busy it has taken my mind off anything, more in relation time to the op!! im impatient lol xx

Your turn next girls. I worked from 8am to 7pm in my last day trident to get all my cases in order to be handed over. It was defo a good idea

Morning girls, well up and ready to head off for the blood test and then i will get out with the dog. Five more sleeps!!

well the blood test was...interesting. A nurse tied to get blood from my right arm..total fail..she said she would go get a colleague, that reassured me...
She came back after a bit and said she would have another go on my left arm...total fail again and now I had two bruise veins which had disappeared all together.
So along came the Doctor, he was lovely to be fair but by now the damage was done...he tried the back of my left hand, he got a tiny bit then it closed. So he went to my left wrist, now that hurt...he got a bit more then it closed. Then he went to the right wrist, more pain, and got a bit more before that closed. So I suggested we pool all three together to make one which there was just enough. This took an hour...for a simple blood test, so now I have five plasters and god am I sore. I don't know what they will do Tuesday as there are no veins left for them to use!!
Tip; The wrist veins kill during and afterwards, don't let them use these!!

Aw that's terrible! I still have a nasty bruise from mines but you will be like pin cushion!!

I'm sure the nurses etc will be used to dealing with that. Nxt week so don't worry!!

Hi all, well another day nearer and now the nerves are starting! I have lost another pound though on a positive note so that's a stone in total which is great, I wanted to get to 12st for the day of operation but I've passed this already .
My bruises look attractive today!
Four more sleeps x
