Oh ok so £6500 for a band is that expensive!? I mean I know £6500 is expensive - but for a band? I'm sure I've seen it around the £5k mark at some places! When you going for the op?

I'm booked in for 20 august. It is a wee bit expensive for a band, you can go to Belgium for 3.5k and there are other providers who charge under 4k

The Nuffield package gives you a two year guarantee and 8 fills in with the price....but I just felt comfortable staying close to home in case anything should go wrong and the Nuffield has a good reputation...really just a gut feeling. Also I'm pants with pain! The thought of travelling after the op filled me with terror. I really admire all the globetrotters on the forum
