Pre-op diet hints and tips

Found a great way of making yogurts into more of an 'eating' thing.

Mix a packet of NAS strawberry jelly with about 1/4 pint of boiling water, whisk it up as this gives the bubbly mouse like texture when finished. Wait for it to cool then fold in a big tub of fat free plain yogurt, I added a bit of sweetener. Put in a containers and refrigerate.

With another large tub of yogurt add sweetener and vanilla essence to taste, then freeze.

that's ok, think it's a great post op recipe too, guilt free desert which gets protein (about 10g) and calcium down you. With it being slightly solidified and frozen means it takes longer to eat also.

Without the fat and sugar a desert for bypassers that won't cause dumping syndrome!
