ready meals

omg i love beetroot it summin i would do, i like that too and the taglatelle bolognese is nice too xx

i happen to like the ww meals lol

I've liked the ones I have tried but that is only the spag bol, lasagne & beef hotpot. Usually I would make my own but this way FitnessPal works out exactly what you are consuming plus the meat in them in more digestible than fresh mince in the early stages. xxx :):)

Well maybe I might make an exception for that then ... takes the guesswork out of it I suppose. What App is that? xxx :)

I tend to stay away from weight watcher ready meals as some of them ( not all) are quite high in fat and carbs....

Lol..I don't think she's quite up for iPhone just yet :) xx

On m and s they have an offer of either chicken or beef pie and casserole, u choose, the veg (broccoli) then mash, I went for carrot sweed and potato one. So I can have the mash and broccoli while OH is having the pie or casserole. All for 5 pounds

Knew I'd get you ladies working it all out for me...lol..glad I started the thread now..good little menu planners that you are!!! :D xx

Morrisons haddock in parsley sauce with mash. Couldn't believe the small portion but it's stuffed me! Tasty too-so worth a try a 245cals for the pack.

I discovered the Marks and Spencers ready meals a couple of weeks ago and have stocked up the freezer with them. I love the Shepherds Pie and Cottage Pie and Cumberland Pie and..... totally delicious and even better, the portions are just right. I noticed that I don't get any of that heavy bloated uncomfortable sicky feeling half an hour after eating M and S meals that I do with the Weight Watchers or the Tesco ready meals. They are well balanced and there is a huge variety to try. I cant wait until I go back to try some more of their range.

Ones to avoid I found are the Liver and Bacon meal for one which seems tasteless and their mini quiches as the pastry is loaded with fat.

Oh yes, M&S ready meals and lunch time salad meals are lovely!

They used to do a healthy eating veggie casserole with dumplings which was low in fat and cals and pre band was very filling. Would probably do 2 meals now! lol
