Hi guys! I haven't been on as much but I thought I'd add my date here. I'll be having my gastric bypass on September 16th, at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, yay!
Started my pre-op Monday the 1st and lost 10lbs in 11 days. Had my pre-op assessment yesterday and it all went well. It's been hard but worth it.
Thankfully I stumbled upon a post by Yvessa about using the knorr chicken stockpot and the ham stock cube with milk and that is what's saving me as I can't stand bovril. The ham cube is my favourite as with milk it tastes like a creamy bacon soup. So there's a tip for those that can have stock on their pre op diet
Also if you are allowed Muller Lights, try the "sprinkled with chocolate" range. Specially the vanilla/cherry one! Tastes like black forest gateau! Same 99 calories as the fruit ones.
