Emotions are high. I'm on the 25 th , please tell me how you get on, I' have wifi in my room so can stay in touch about my experience

Glad you okay. Mine is on Friday and I'm really nervous. I've lost 8 lbs so far. They told me my operation date on the Thursday and had to start my diet the next day, no time to think about it xx how does it feel? Are you in pain? Does your insides feel strange? X

I can feel some dull pain in the area where the drain is. Hope they'll take it away soon.

I dont feel strange inside at all yet. Maybe when i'll be given some yogurt or soup i will feel something unusual.

Now i am up, washed my teeth, sitting in a chair and just sipping on my peppermint tea, had to let it cool down as hot drink was not the thing for me (never used to be to be honest).

I am sure you will be fine on thursday!

How is the diet going? Which option did you choose/were given to do?

I am also getting my op on 12 th sept. Lost 7 lb this week on the pre op diet. I was only asked to follow a low fat, no alcohol diet so hoping that my liver is shrinking on that

I'm so jealous I've had nothing but low fat yogurt for the last 9 days in don't think I will be able to face another yogurt after this and although I'm not hungry I just crave something savoury

I think whatever version of LSD our surgeons give us, we always think another version looks better.

It's only a couple of weeks of our lives and a gateway to something fantastic.

You will all be great girls. I was bricking it. No way am I a brave soldier in any way. But......it really was a breeze. Much easier than I ever imagined. Honestly. That was two and a half weeks ago

Well i worry about home bed as it does not quiet move up and down like the hospital bed!! so i asked husband to get a few extra pillows from tesco that i could get comfy a bit scared to go home too just incase something bad happens!

But on the other hand i cant wait to get back home, can create my routine slowly

Glad you are okay. I'm on the milk and yoghurt diet but because I struggle with milk in can swap a soup for a pint of milk. Glad I'm nearly there, the diet is hard work. It's been a real test of my willpower when mydfamily are eating sausage and mash or take away and I can't eat it. Slowly getting used to my future. Xx

had my last visit at the homerton befor my WLS in 10 days time, just chatted with the surgeon talked about how it all happens and the risk involved I will be in for 3 days so out on Saturday some time
just counting down the days now
