I had a 4 week post check up - all they do is weigh you and ask if there are any problems - and lets face it if we have problems we call them so you are not missing much really - though of course you do have peace of mind if you see them but they didnt check the wounds or anything ....

i had my first check up yesterday and am 5/6 weeks post op, they went through what i was eatiing took blood the surgeon did check my wounds and sore muscles also went through what meds i am taking and told me to double them. I have lost 20 kilos post op and 34% of excess weight can start gentle swimming in two weeks and was told still to stick to drinks half hour before and after meals x
