Stilettos

I miss wearing gorgeous hills!!!! :-( I see beautiful shoes all the time in the shops I'm so jealous! X x

I dunno. I hear that you have to train yourself to wear heels; well I'm only 149lbs now (10st 9) so theoretically I should be able to wear heels but I get corns in a second wearing anything but comfort shoes, not even ballet flats; they don't give me any support, but shoes from hottershoes.co.uk; some are quite pretty but they are all built for comfort not trendiness. And I am at my age (almost 64) just not willing to sacrifice comfort for style. I love beautiful clothes and looking amazing, but my feet will always be shod in comfortable shoes. So sue me!

Agree. Wish they would invent comfy killer heels. I must say that I now sway towards comfort at all costs but a girl can dream. LOL

Do they still sell those 'foot glove' shoes at Marks and Spencer's? They had some nice high-ish heels and were very comfy to wear.

Yes they do still sell foot gloves. But I find them not very supportive; they're soft but don't have arch supports and the like. I must have funny feet. I need supportive and comfortable shoes, not just soft ones :)

I have a relatively flat instep as I was born with twisted feet that had to be regularly massaged to sort. So I think it's another reason I have t liked heels when I have tried them x

Oh me and heels have never had a good friendship even when I was slim before. I love my pumps far too much lol. Might be tempted by wedges though lol

Viva la diva has some good comfort wear that I find gives me enough support during the day to wear a 3/4 inch heel at the moment. Which is more than I could manage in most makes. It is cushion walk brand.

I love viva la diva. I can get boots that go over my calves (just about like)

Watched Sex & the City last night episode about the stolen Manolo Blaniks - made me smile about this thread.
