Finallylost 2.5lb this week, 1lb left of Christmas gain. I have walked 90,769 steps from Monday to Friday and finally beat my daughter in law and won our Fitbit challenge. Seeing the physio on Monday for women’s physio and hopefully find out when I can go back to the gym and going back to work on a phased return on 29 January. Thanks everyone for your help and support while I have been unwell.
I think you would beat most people with 90,769 steps in a week. Is that a world record by any chance??
Well done for losing most of the excess Christmas weight as it is never an easy thing to do. I know I’m glad it only comes around once a year!

Had a great meeting with two lovely young lady physiotherapists specialising in women’s physio. They have given me some exercises to do and I am going back in a week. I think I won’t be going back to my aerobic classes at the gym for quite a few months as it is so important to get my pelvic floor back to full strength. I really need to be patient and I will get there in the end xxx

Glad you had some good advice from the women’s physio so you know what you need to do without straining anything. The aerobic classes will still be there when you have fully recovered then you can join in safely. x

That’s great that they were lovely and at long last you have some excercises, your right though you cannot rush the return to the aerobics, all in good time, you don’t want to undo all the hard work. Hugs to you xxx
Thanks everyone. Like Emma I am feeling tearful, emotional and frustrated about not being able to do what I want. This prolapse is truly one of the hardest things to get my head around and up there with having my bypass. Hopefully with the help of these physiotherapists I can get back to my exercise classes in time xx
It must be difficult having to stop the exercising that you really enjoyed but you will be able to return to the gym when you have fully recovered from your recent surgery. Unfortunately we cannot rush these things as it can prolong recovery. Getting back to work will help provide a step back to normality for you. xx

You'll get there my lovely, just like the bypass, you have to work through it until you are fully recovered, after all you and your body has been through these last 18 months I think you are doing fab. You will get there xx
