Good luck xx

Well all done and dusted had my band fitted 24 hours ago... Ain't no going back, to be honest I am really surprised at how much pain I am in.. Wind pain and muscle pain in my stomach.. I can actually feel the tightness of the band.. I have slept on and off for the last 26 hours.. So here's hoping I will be back on my feet soon, as I have three little ones breaking up from school today..

glad it's gone ok but the pain you feel in terms of muscle pain and wind pain is incredibly common after having a band, take something such as deflatine, gently move around and move arms in windmill motion as that too can help with wind pain too.

Take the painkillers you were given regularly as it can help and no need to suffer unnecessarily!

Hope the pain is easing off. It may take a few days, but you will be bouncing around again soon x

End of day three and got to say I'm feeling very sorry for myself.. I have spent the whole time in my bed.. Tried some Heinz Tom soup this evening and it made me feel pretty rough.. So bit fed up to say the least.. Looking forward to hopefully waking up and feeling better..

Post op day 5

So I'm starting to feel a little better but haven't made it out the house yet.. I have low blood pressure and feel myself going dizzy all the time. Don't feel hungry at all am struggling to have the required fluid intake.. Completely off my green tea which is Mad as I was an total addict.
Maintain some energy by drinking full cream milk, but that's it.. Find all shakes r to sweet an make me feel sicky..
Wasn't very pleased with OH this morning as whilst I was in bed he started to cook bacon.. Bacon of all things the one thing that can turn a committed vegetarian into a ravishing carnivore.. It smelt soooo good...
Luckily for me my nine year old was a little more thoughtful and brought me a clothes peg for nose.!

Glad ur starting to feel a little better, just take it easy and u be fine x x

Aw bless your little boy! Soon you will be eating mushies and would have forgotten about all the wind pain and sore stomach :)
