hi all

I think these are completely normal feelings. I am getting them myself whenever I see my ticker countdown to my op.

I dont even have a date and i am crying over silly things and wake up thinking about it. It is normal this is such a big step in our life but its a step up and hey just think and concentrate on after x

Mandy this is totally normal, its an emotional journey your embarking on and its also very personal. I went through a terrible time on an emotional yo yo. Just accept this is normal and post op you will wonder why you ever felt like it..hang in there its not long now xxx

Mandy most post oppers have been there and most pre oppers are probably going through exactly the same as you are now :) Dont think your the first or the last person to feel like you are! It will all so be worth it in the end! x

Hi Mandy,
Its only natural to be worrying, Its one rollercoaster of a ride but your gonna come out of it at the end and shout Whhooooooo Hoooooooo!!
I still get emotional days now, Because I am so gratefull to have had the Op and It makes me cry to think How it has changed my life so much. (But in a Happy way) You will have your ups & Downs but we are all here for you to support you along the way!
Good luck on your Journey & Enjoy it!
(((BIG HUGS)))

Oh Mandy its so normal - you have a good cry - it will make you feel better. By the time you get to Theatre, you will be calm and serene and a few months from now - svelte!

Hi Mandy, I'll be exactly the same as you in a few weeks' time! Have been really calm so far but I know it's gonna hit me a week or so before!

Best of luck with everything and good luck with the milk diet. :cross:
Cuppa xx

thanks everyone your all so kind to me xx

Mandy I think we all go through this so don't think its just you. Sorry to say this but you'll probably find you get worse as the time gets closer to your op. try and think positive though because if your blood pressure is too high because of the upset they may delay your op. Nice happy thoughts now about your journey to Slimvillexxxx

Hi Mandy - I'm setting off for my surgery in 2 and a half hours and please let me tell you it is definately normal. Last week I was out with family and my eyes just filled up with tears for no apparent reason, however, today I feel strong and so sure of my choice. I expect we will all go through an emotional rollercoaster to get to where we are going but the best rides in life make you laugh, cry, nervous and excited so this is definately one of those life time rides. Good luck hun and keep smiling :0)

Hi Mandy

I was just about to post that ive been tearful is it normal, when i saw your post.

Im bursting into tears for no reason, last night my poor husband didnt know what to do with me, all he did was ask whats for tea.

I hardly ever cry but this last couple of days ive been a blubbering wreck.

At least i know now, im not the only one.
