Hey, good luck. And, try not to worry about kicking the bucket, it's really really rare and if you think like that then you would never leave the house! Millions of people have operations everyday and are fine, the band op is really quick as well. That's how I reasoned it to myself, look at all of us post oppers, we are fine! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ps. well done for sticking to your pre-op diet, i think that was the hardest bit for me!

Hi all still here whoop whoop lol was soooo scared glad it's done now. Mind you feel really rough slept & slept also feeling really sick keep giving me anti sickness injections , are keeping me in till later. Hopefully it upwards on onwards from now :)

Hi hun, well my recovery went well. Im now on solids which is good.
Recently i have had lots of problems with parents being ill and been very busy and have found myself making some bad food choices :( I havent gained any weight but am now stalling in my weight loss.

I need to get myself back on track with eating and not skip my meals which i have been doing.

Other than that my band has been great and i dont eat as much as i used to even though i have no restriction the fear of doing damage to the band stops me from over eating.

How are you feeling hun?? xxx

A bit sore sweet :( & a bit confused don't think the nurses know what a bander can & can't eat or drink & I've left my paperwork in the house as I didn't think I would need it. They fabe me tea with milk then the consultant went mad so the nurse asked me not to say I had milk :(. She has just given me dissolvable pain killers which I have left for ages but they are still fizzy - unsure if I should take them but in agony. What did you take sweet? X

Meant to ask when do you get your 1st fill, sooo exciting think mine is in about 1 months time xx
 
My 1st fill is on 3rd May, so excited x

About pain relief, i would check with your provider but at hospital i didnt have any as i didnt need it but at home i tried the dis-solvable ones and hated the taste made me gag so i got ones that you put on tongue to dis-solve lemon flavour, they were ok but i ended up taking normal paracetamol capsules and they were best for me.
My provider said it was ok to take normal one but check with yours xx

I was a bit sicky after but it soon settled down.

Yay your back!

Thrilled your ok, I took the dissolvable tablets in a very small amount of water, waited till all powder rested at bottom then swirled and downed it, they are far stronger than over counter meds. They really were my saving grace!
