Mis keep faith. water retention can lead to STS . At least you aren't heavier due to xmas. What would you have been like in comparison this time last year? X

Morning, some great losses again this week ladies, well done. Mis, I feel your pain hun, I only weigh in once a fortnight now and I've lost 2 pounds in the last 2 weeks. That means I weigh 1 pound less than I did 2 months ago. I know, with me, it's my own fault though as I just don't try hard enough to work properly with my band. However, on Thursday it was my one year Surgiversary so I'm treating it like a new start. We're going on holiday to Egypt in just under 2 weeks for 11 nights all inclusive and as soon as I get back I'm booking myself in for my third fill. With hindsight I should have had a third fill months ago but I think I was a bit scared of how little that would mean I ate (I.e. the whole point of having a band in the first place!) anyway, enough is enough, I'm going to stop messing around and start doing this properly! I'm even going to book myself in on my local Race for Life in May!
Mis, I'm sure once you've had that second fill you'll be flying again!

Thank you Mel. It is a mourning process and you are just going through it and seems like you are coming to the other side stronger. We are loosing our good friend after all. Well done in your 50 lbs mark :)

Thanks chick....I hit my 50lb last week...it's a nice feeling isn't it....well done and keep at it....just deciding what's on the menu today as treat myself on a sat (if I've lost that is)! Old habits die hard...reward with food lol..but at least it's nothing compared to what I'd have had 6mths ago xx

I only lost 2lbs this week. A bit gutted cos I feel like I deserve a bit more.
Been eating super healthy, protien, hardly any carbs, drinking about 3L of water, exercising. Scales have STS for 5 days :( Xx

Hello, I have lost 2lbs this week which I'm really pleased with. My son weighed after me and he weighs 5st 3lbs which is what I've lost overall!

Hey all!
Only a 1lb loss for me this week, I moved back onto normal food on friday so we'll see. Feeling a little disappointed but I have my first fill on friday so fingers crossed it'll speed up.

Miss cupcake a loss is a loss :) just concentrate on the positive plus calculate loosing a pound a week every week, where will you be by summer? By Xmas? Keep going, and don't be disheartened if you don't have the results hoped for ok, its about getting healthier and happier xxx
 
Miss Cupcake, your body is still recovering. At your stage, my weight loss really slowed down so I started looking at what I was eating. I wasn't eating enough calories for my size so my body had gone into starvation mode. I upped my calories, made sure I was eating band-friendly foods, and focussed on getting plenty of protein. While I eat a large variety from all food groups, I do find the more protein-based foods I eat, the quicker my weight loss. Follow your providers guidance and it will work for you...just don't loose heart and then start making the wrong food choices. And remember, any pound that is taking you in the right direction to your goal is a good thing. Have a great week next week :) x
 
Oh this week I just know I'm gonna be on those scales daily! 1lb to go to hit 4 stone loss and if I manage 3lb I'm into 12s which is so exciting...! Weigh day will be fri this week as away fri night so 1 day less to work at it too......FOCUS FOCUS!! here's hoping..........

Thx hun...I used to set challenges like this before but were slightly different..could I get a full pizza polished off,.then cud I manage cookie n ice cream dessert..haha..always succeeded then in my mini challenges lol so no excuse for me now :D
