Hope all goes well for you. I was banded in 2007 but a month ago found a kink in my tube plus it had begun to erode into my stomach wall. Ended up with an emergency op but have recovered well and its given me a new lease of life (i'd started to put weight back on).
Hope everythings ok. Keep us posted x

Oh dear I get the feeling I am looking at doing this all over again every 5 years....:'( please tell me u guys have just been unlucky? Sorry if this sounds incentive but 6 days out of surgery emotion r all over the place

Well im back!

i drove to belgium on sunday, we stayed in a lovely hotel had a really nice meal, then we got up at 5 and drove to the hospital.
it was really easy to find and get booked in.
my surgeon took me for an xray and we saw my tubing floating in my tummy like a piece of spaghetti.

then i went down to theatre and then to recovery. when i was back in my room the surgeon explained that he also had to replace my port. which is why im in soooo much pain now!
i had alot of pain from the gas in my shoulde also.

we drove home after i was discharged at 2pm that day and spent the night in my own bed.
iv been on liquids since monday and im gradually able to have a bit more water.
currently im sitting in bed eating baby food (banab custard)

i will keep you all updated!!!

i went to see my surgeon on saturday, and my port and tubing have dis connected.

iv got to go back to belgium to have it repaired!!!
im going back 14th november!!!
