My doctor isnt really that supportive was thinking about changin gp,s and find a gp that wud help xx Not sure that wud make a difference though as the hospital is higher than them,i think!
I must say you must be devastated, so sorry, bad news.
one thing is though that you have got time on your side, I imagine your not as old as me, what with kids and all, so take it from me you do have time.
Now I don't know what you've done in the past but my advice is to involve your doctor as much as possible, tell him your depressed about your weight, your going to a diet club, ask him about diet tablets, in other word it's very important that all this goes down on your medical record.
When you go and see the Doctor deliberately look as fat as you can by wearing baggy clothes, sound out of puff when you go in, cry if you can, he needs to convince these faceless wonders at Walsall that you need this operation.
It'll take time but you do need his support because I do know Mr Khans team talk to your GP at length.
I've been to every club going and the Doctor new about it, I've taken every diet pill he can find for me, he even sent me to a Psychologist for 12 months, so he knows and, more importantly, it's on my record that I've being trying to lose weight for years.
And that's what you need to do for as long as you can.
I don't want to sound harsh but there surely must be something they're not happy with about your case and you need to find out what that is so that you can put it right.
Once again my heart goes out to you, but hang on in there and you will get you operation, just take it as a challenge.
