Hi WLWB, I haven't been told anything about it at all, I just ticked that I snored. I think Dr Hartland asked me if I ever woke up suddenly etc, and I said no, as I don't. I only snore if I'm on my back too, unless I've had too many beers!!! I am a very light sleeper, I hear anything outside and also if it's too quiet - if the central heating goes off it wakes me up cos it's too quiet!! If a cat comes in the room, it wakes me up. I can't sleep in hospitals, on buses, trains (unless I've been out in London when I used to work there, often ended up in the wrong station after the influence of alcohol!!). I think it is purely the snoring when I'm on my back.
I don't think it necessarily delays things too much though, I think they just need to know for sure. I think if it's really bad, they may want you supplied with one of those CPAP machines though and that may take longer because of the delay in getting hold of them.
Thanks for the info. I do snore, but I have always put that down to my excess weight and the 'odd glass or two of red wine'. Also, I think I may have nasal polyps, but I don't ever wake up suddenly. I just hope it's not going to be another hurdle to get over : - (
Please post if you get 'called up'. x
