well to put it briefly i took my nephew to nursery and one of the children ran up n down the corridoor grabbing his friends saying

"LOOK AT THE FAT LADY OVER THERE, COME AND LOOK, COME AND LOOK CAN YOU SEE HER"

He said it about 6 times or so to different people running up and down the corridoor. I was horrified and mortified and also disgusted because the ladys older son who is in my daughters class has already made my daughter cry by saying to her

"I CANT BELIEVE HOW BIG YOUR MOM'S GOT"

so to have her younger son shout that just added insult to injury.

I walked up to her and told her she should teach her child some manners and even at 4 my daughter would never have done such a thing. I left the building at lightening speed and cried my eye's out at home lol.

I'm ok now but it shook me up I can tell you.

:hug99: Hugs T xx

thanks sam, I still blush now when I think about it.

experiences like that will soon be a thing of the past. You will soon be losing your weight for the very last time xx

Oh I really hope so, I want to feel good about myself again. I never even make eye contact when i'm out of the house, i just look down, i wanna hold my head up high again.

It just made me more sure that i'd made the right decision to have surgery.

Now i just gotta do what u like best.....WAIT lol

hi terri... where have you been hiding all day lol.

you coming out to play on monday?

Hi everyone, just caught up with the pages of gassing! lol Hey twig that was awful what happened at the school, if my 4yr old had done that he would had been told off straight away. Glad you all sound chirpy, i'm off now so take care and catch you all soon. xxxx

Hi ST,

I am really sorry you had that happen, but it is all too common. I've had similar experiences and short of letting rip with my rather hefty and deadly accurate right fist, I usually deliver a killer line of unbeatable sarcasm that has them wishing the ground would open up and swallow them.

Fat people bleed, cry, love and get angry too.

Don't get angry, get gorgeous and look forward to a few months time when you will see this woman again and then you can say:

'O hi! As you can see, I've lost weight! But I can see you're still [insert appropriate put down].'

How are you all doing?
xx

Hi Rach,

I'm feeling better if not a bit bashed about by nasties

Sam is still a lady in waiting

Waynetta is 4 days away from her op and is surely thinking by now that milk is the issue frim the devil's right nip

Terri is probably starting to get the jitters cos she's a few days of her first pre-op

And ST is reeling from her unfortunate experience at a nursery today (see above)

Glad you feel a bit better, but what a horrible thing to happen. Kids can be little bar stewards sometimes! My nephew, who was about 4 at the time, kept asking me why I cried so much when I found my lovely 13 year old cat run over outside our house. He knew how hurtful he was being.

Blimey...you lot dont half natter, LOL.

Thanks for the recap Red. I have had my Pre-ops...just waiting for my op date to come round (7th April), but it looks like none of you will be through with me :( 6 weeks and 6 days to go.

Welcome St...has everyone warned you of the stress factor related to WM, and that everyones journey has been different so far, oh and that we're all mad lol.

Sorry to hear about your nursery incident, I work with lovely little monsters too and i get cross if they get silly about peoples size. I have it enough in the street without having it in the classroom too. (I blame it on the society we live in).

How is the pre-op diet going, I am still undecided in which to do as i am at work whilst doing it.

Terri is probably starting to get the jitters cos she's a few days of her first pre-op

Terri is very much suffering from pre op jitters cause I hate needles and blood tests as they have a right time getting blood out of my arm and normally have to take it out the back of my hand. In just want it to be over and done with and have a date so I can plan things and not keep saying well i dont know cause of waiting for my date its just becoming a pain in the ass.

Good luck allie it will soon be over

Terri I have/had the same problem when i went for mine, they ended up sending me to the blood clinic for the specialists to get my blood.
I would be up front i was and pre warned her i have probs she was really good.

You will be there a good couple of hours and i would take someone with you as i didnt feel well after and had to drive to work.

Terri I was the same, it's incredibly common amongst overweight people! I never realised it was the layers of fat that caused the problem, not my pathetic veins. Now though, it's a doddle! No problem finding the vein and straight in and out. So think long term, these will be the last few difficult tests :)

On a brighter note I have just had another mbe from walsall and my 2nd pre op has been brought forward by a week and is no on 10th March whoop whoop.
