How do you get the maximum but efficent heat from it?

yep i have it

down stairs gets nice and cosey where as up stairs is brrrr, but i think this is due to the loft insualtion on the skimpy side and thats being done on 15th feb.

Any imput would be marvelous!

I don't have it but my sister does in her house (3 bedrooms). She's lived there for about 4 or 5 yrs now.

Her experience sound similar to yours, it heats downstairs OK, they sometimes use an electric heater as a booster, but upstairs is chilly, so the tend to use electric heaters up there which is really expensive. Over the xmas period when I saw her she was talking about getting some calor gas heaters for upstairs.

in the mean time she's saving for central heating.

We used to have a calor gas heater years ago before we had central heating and it was really good, and pretty cheap too XX
