What have you eaten today?

This is a bit cheeky of me but I was hoping that all our bypassers and banders would regularly post what they have eaten (and in what quantity) during the day.

I thought this would be really helpful for those of us who are pre-WLS. Hopefully we will get an idea of what we can eat and at what stage we can eat it. It will also help post op losers with meal ideas etc.

I have noticed on the other diet forums that many of them list their daily diet to give others ideas. Thought this would be useful for us too.
 
im a bander and today i ate ...

breakfast: just a coffee, 2 sugers a little milk.

lunch: a small bowl of spag bol with a tiny sprinkle of cheese. (NO PASTA)

evening meal: 2 salmon fish fingers with baked beans.

snacks: 2 cars water biscuits with 1 dairy lea light triangle spread between the 2 water biscuits.

liquids: 1 litre of water & 1 litre of sugar free diluted fruit juice.

Hiya, there is a daily menus thread in the recipe section for bypassers, it might be an idea to start one there for banders too?
 
I thought that was just for recipe ideas - I need to have another look at it! The reasoning behind this thread was to get an idea of what people can eat and how much of it at each stage of their journey if you see what I mean.

Edited to say I have just found a whole load of threads I haven't even noticed before!! Sorry if I am repeating a thread that has already been done. Great idea to do a daily menu thread for banders Shelbel.

Breakfast:
Cup of tea, small bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes with milk

Mid morning:
Protein shot

Lunch:
Ham and cheese mixed leaf salad, colslaw

Dinner:
Chicken breast marinated in piri piri sauce and grilled, with a ceasar salad, desert spoon full of coronation colslaw.

Yeah i know salad twice, i can eat loads of salad before reaching restriction and in this weather i prefer it.
 
I haven't had a great day... due to being asleep for 12 hours :O

so ive had 1 spoon of baked beans mashed up, with 1 spoon of mash ontop with a bit of grated cheese.... ive had this twice today...

i am still on sloppy food :)

2wks 4days bypass post-op:

brekkie -half mullerlight yogurt

lunch- other half of yogurt

dinner-i tin weight watchers tomato soup

juice throughout the day

very very boring!!!!!
 
I am a bypasser, this is my food today from the daily post thread:

B - yogurt & small banana
L - 1/4 of a 6" Italian BMT wrap from Subway w/cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles and lf mayo, clementine
D - 1/4 chicken breast, topped with mushrooms & melted cheese, french green beans w/ toasted almonds (2 tbsp) & baby carrots (2 tbsp)
Snack - frozed coffee protein shake, 1 low sugar ice lolly

Many of us post there daily to keep track of our food.

As for liquids today in addition to the food I listed I have had:

Milky coffee (300mils)
Water (750mils)
SF squash watered down (500mils)

Breakfast.. damn I missed it
4pm Sunday Lunch (for 5 adults 3 kids)
so I blended up a yorkshire pud, lamb, roast potato, stuffing ,mint sauce and gravy. I was very good and didnt touch the veg:rolleyes: pigs in blankets or mash lol.
Thats it now for the day (well maybe a glass of wine .. it is sunday after all.
During the week I vary little from
Breakfast..bowl porridge/oatmeal or muller rice
Dinner.. always soup (homemade cos the chef at work can cook.. I cant)
Tea.. a bowl of mash & gravy if still at work if not either weightwatchers ready meal blended or whatever my little boys having .. blended.

I am a Bypasser & I have had today,

Breakfast: Cup of milky Coffee with Splenda

A small bowl of Fruit & Fibre about an hour later.

Dinner: Chicken tikka salad sandwich

Tea: Small tin of Beans & Sausage on 1 slice of toast with out crusts,

Snacks: 5 strawberries and some starburst sweets about 10 lol

And another milky coffee and Been drinking ribeana all day long Oh and a Lick of my hubbys Icecream because I am such a good girl lol

B/fast 2 slices of waferthin ham 1 inch slice of pinapple
mid morning skinny latte X2
lunch philli light and rice cake snack pot
mid after noon protien shot 1ltr flavored water
coffee
dinner chicken breast with garlic and herbs seasoning, Tablespoon carrots, broccolie, mange tout mix
mashed banana
 
breakfast 2 crackers with lowfat cream cheese


lunch 1 slice roast beef 3 small roast potaoes one teaspoon of brocoli same of leeks one slice low fat cheesecake

snack mini twister icelolly

dinner 3 leftover roasties

5 cups of tea and lots of water thru day

today has not been a great food day as was out to mums for lunch and felt like i ate loads
 
Today I have had...

Small bowl of Dorset Cereals Light Spelt flakes with figs, with soya milk.

Cup of tea, soya milk

Chicken Drumstick, 3 new potatoes, cabbage, carrots (no gravy to stop it being a slider meal)

1 very small bag of banana chips coated in yoghurt

Carrot and Coriander soup and 2 Laughing Cow light portions, with 4 Ritz crackers.

1 litre of water, one mango smoothie and about 3 cups of tea.
 
Hi there,

Today I have had:

Breakfast: 1 shredded wheat with skimmed milk. Handful of cherries.
Snack: Jelly
Lunch: Small amount of mixed seeds and almonds. Some cottage cheese with grapes.

Evening meal: 1/2 baked chicken breast with tbsp mushy peas and some mushrooms.

Late evening I will have small amount all-bran with skim milk.

Drinks: Water, pure fruit smoothie, tea.
 
today i had..

breakfast 1 coffee 2 sugars with milk and 2 ciggies

lunch mince curry on its own no rice

evening meal fish pie
 
brekfast coffee

lunch bag of beef monster munch

dinner lettuce tomatoe a potatoe and a slice of bacon joint dollop of low fat mayo

also had a low cal lolly and one cake bite
 
Breakfast- Milky coffee, half a mullerlight

Lunch- M&S tomato soup (went to the mall @cribbs) managed a 1/3 of a bowl

Tea- Mullerlight

Loads of water and coffee through day

Exciting stuff hey lol
