Whats your pcts nice guidelines??

Hi all,
I'm just interested in the differences in the nice guidelines throughout, I know my area is one of the less strict guidelines and u are accepted for wl surgery if ur bmi is above 40 or above 35 with a co morbidity. I'm in the north east of England (Durham). I've heard some people say there guidelines are a lot tougher.
What are ur nice guidelines? X

Strict!!!

Coventry - BMI over 45 with type 2 diabetes or BMI over 50 with comorbidities which are likely to be improved with weight loss or BMI over 65 without comorbidities. Patients must have failed to achieve or maintain weight loss after one years intensive management in a specialist obesity clinic setting.

I can't believe how strict some pcts are!! I'm so lucky to have the pct I do or i would have ended up even more over weight b4 I had my op! It's sad that in different areas is so different they shouldn't be allowed to do that!
