Had a text from Bev this morning.....the consultant wants her to rest today so she is having a nice snuggled day in bed! She asked about all of you and wanted me to update you all. I will pass everyones messages on later today when I visit and I will pass some hugs on too XX

latest from bev ~ all went well,had larger dose of anasthetic because of 3 and half hour op, pouch 1cm opening and can hold 5cm,dressing change soon xx

Thank goodness Bev's going to be ok. I've just caught up with the thread - had meetings yesterday and this morning so couldn't get on tinternet.

Thanks for all the updates - much appreciated. Its good to know that Bev has so much love and support behind her, she deserves every bit of it.

Glad to see that things are going alright for Bev. I am so looking forward to reading her posts in the future. It is a pleasure to move up and make room for Bev on the loser's bench. Jacqui, please give her my love when you see her and a very gentle hug.

I've just realised I've lost 5 stones in total now. I can't believe it. I have never lost that much weight in one go before and any weight I have lost has always gone back on.

I had my hair cut yesterday, it looks a bit like Grace Jones' in her bad days. My eldest doesn't like it at all. My youngest waivers between loving it and thinking it's alright and my husband just laughed when he saw me. People at school love it and say that it makes me look 10yrs younger, (despite the fact the grey roots are now showing).

I've got our passports out and can't believe the differance in my photo and how I look now. My youngest is worried that they won't let me travel as I look so different. I can't believe how much weight I have lost from my face and how reduced the triple chin is!!!

Today I went into TJ Hughe and bought myself a top for £1.99 in the sale (reduced from £12) and......drum roll....it is a size 18. Yesterday I bought myself a pair of trousers (large not XXXL) and a T-shirt (18) from Dunns. I'm stopping myself from buying any more clothes unless they are a real bargain.

I am so looking forward to my holiday and being able to sit comfortably in the plane. If I'm very lucky I will be able to get the lap tray all the way down instead of it perching on my belly. I am not looking forward to revealing the wobbly thighs and upper arm. I keep telling myself I should be proud of them as they are a sign of what I've achieved so far. Mind you the exercise seems to be paying off on that front. Hurrah!!!

Oh no, I am so sorry. This was suppossed to be in my wls diary. Is there anyway I can move it? I don't want to ambush Bev's thread. I think I need a new brain to go with the new body.

Don`t worry Rebirth - we all forgive you; we are so happy that Bev has had her surgery at last!

Just be glad when Bev logs back on so we can `speak` to her again, and wish her well!

You have done so well and should be really proud of yourself and your achievments, and I bet your family are proud of you too!
