A tattoo aswell, i would love one, but not brave enough....... LOL

Thanks Ali and Mandy.
Yes you're a proper fashion guru Mandy. Try turquoise, I actually fancy that too. I'm not brave. Lol. I have never actually wanted a tattoo, but saw this cute one and thought why not. It's not a very comfortable exerience having it done though. Gordon decided to get a more manly heart to match on his foot too.

thats cool........ i keep pestering paul to have one, LOL........ i think i want to go blonde again........ to be honest im not sure what i want!!!!!!LOL.......... at the moment a new life would be good......... i get so restless its annoying

Erm, it depends what you're into really. Personally, I try to squeeze a new experience in every few months, like bungee jumping, sky diving, days out, firewalking, life coaching etc. Everyone's different though. I get a kick from doing mad things. Try to think about where your life is going and what you want out of life every so often so that you can focus on that, aiming towards it little steps at a time. I even changed my career and moved house, which is life changing. Just get things into perspective and be clear about the kind of life that you want to have. Visualise it and work towards those changes every day in everything that you do. Don't forget that having your op is one change already...

See you're already working on your master life plan and you didn't even know it. I find that the best way to change your life is to be honest to yourself and be open to new ideas. Gordon's saying is : "If you can't, you must" because he likes to have new challenges to make his life interesting. Make sure that whatever ou do, be true to yourself and don't just do things to please other people all the time because you need happiness and fun too. Let me know what you come up with after a bit of reflection...

May need your insight and help on this one i think hun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! problem with me is I do tend to try and please and do things for others... then get S**T on from a big height...........

I was exactly the same. Yes, you can please and help others, but it doesn't always help you. I used to worry too much about what people thought, but then decided to do a few things for me, regardless of what other people think. At least I appreciate my efforts and enjoy myself in pleasing myself. Don't get me wrong, I still try to please others, but there are some things I do now that I do regardless of what anyone else thinks. It's not always easy, but it is worth it in the long run. I have a lot more respect for myself now and people know that I'm not just there to help them. Consider what you would like to feel about your achievements and quality of life when you look back at your life when you're old. Do you just want to have been the one to put others first or is there more that you want from life?? Only you know what you want from life Mandy. The first step is to think positive, even when things go pear shaped, and the rest will follow.

hey winky how u doing hun, its been a while now, sorry i missed u on msn will try to catch up with u, loved the fire walking site, take care xxx

Hi Smiler,
It's nice to hear from you. How are you?Sorry I keep missing you... Thanks for checking out the firewalkingdreams website. Is there anything that you think that needs improving? I've worked on it for ages!
I love your bling signature too. I need to sort myself out with one sometime too.

Hi everyone,
Good news, I'm not dumping quite as often now. Breakfast still isn't good, but lunch is getting better and tea is fine. I'm working on it. My weight hasn't budges, but I am confident that it will eventually. I fit into my suit for the first time in ages today so had to wear it for my work placement just because I could! Lol.
I went to a wastewater site to interview today and had to wear all the safety equipment, goggles, hard hat, gloves and bright yellow coat. I was with the photographer who is a normal size so whwn they brought out the jackets I took 2XL and gave him the L. It was so funny because I'm so used to having to go for the biggest size possible and took the 2XL, which was enormous on me! I couldn't even get my hands out of the sleeves and the body drwoned me. I happily exchanged the coat for the L which was still big. Even the gloves and helmet were miles too big so I looked really funny. The joys of losing weight eh!

Glad to hear you are not dumping so often. Have been reading your thread you are truly an inspiration and i will def have a look at your firewalking site. Well done on you fab weight loss so far you must have been so pleased to exchange your coat for a smaller one. just proves it has all been worth it x

Your coat story made me smile :) What a great suprise to find the L so baggy too! Well done :)

Thanks Tammy and Ali.
It's nice to share my good as well as bad stories. I tried Elleactiva calcium chews today from Boots. They 3 for the price of 2 and only £3.99. My surgeon recommended them because the lemon ones made me feel sick. They are great. CHOCOLATE FAVOUR!!!! I didn't dump on them either so I'll be looking forward to my calcium supplements from now on. Give them a go.
Tammy any feedback on the website would be great as I'm still trying to improve it. Cheers!
