Good morning everyone, Sorry I've been missing for a few weeks but just back from my holidays in turkey. Went to the same village we have stayed in the last 6 years and I got many compliments at how well I look. A small reward for the hard work! Well I am back home and the scales are being unkind. Like everyone I have over indulged, not with food but with beer and g&t (no slimline out there). So I have gained 8lbs. I have 11 weeks until the next trip so from today I am focused on what I eat, alcohol is out and salad, fresh fruit in. Catching up on the posts I see we have been yo yoing a bit so with the lovely weather and the amount of wonderful fresh fruits and veg we need to step it up. Neisie, I hope you had a fab birthday. Banana you are doing well the last couple of months are the hardest it shift the pounds but stay focused. Eaglette you are doing well too especially dropping dress sizes, that's the most rewarding bit. Woody, how's life balloonless? Bakedbean you ok? Becci, how are you feeling now? Well I have to run as it's first day at work and I'm sure I will have several hundred emails to get through Have a good Monday everyone Kxx
Glad u enjoyed hol!!! I've had fab weekend socialising I went to see Dolly Parton too haha she's bloody tiny! I'm on it again now we go to Florida in 5 wk so 2lb a week I need!!! It's hard guys isn't it but we need to stay focused!! This. Warm weather makes it Easier to eat well.
My weight loss stalled at about the 4 month mark as well I had lost about 2.5 stone at that point and there was still plenty to go. From reading comments on here I gather it's quite common. I changed my food around. Wasn't able to do much exercise as have fibromyalgia but people on here have had to up the intensity of that as well. I ended up losing 3 stone 10 lbs in 6 months with the balloon so it did start again bug was very difficult. Sending hugs as I know how hard it is but don't lose your determination and listen to your body, small portions of good healthy food and exercise and it will work xxx
I'm currently stalled at 11kgs - I've upped my exercise and hope that will have an effect though it also makes me hungrier so that's a bit counter-productive if I'm not careful. For now, I'm enjoying the fact that I dropped a dress size and that the next size down is starting to feel looser. I think 16kgs is amazing - you can do this!
I stalled too. My support lady told me to do GI diet and chicken and egg after that it moved it along again!

Bloody hell neissie. U get around a bit. Lol Guinness is full of iron so doesn't count as a bad thing lol
Home from Dublin, fun but difficult trip. Having both sets of elderly parents with us was like caring for children. Gained some lbs whilst away but I'm in full diet mode now. Hubby got back on a plane to the UK within 12 hours of being home. He's back Sunday and then I leave for the UK on Tuesday. The day I get home he leaves for the UK again. Visas have to get cancelled and reapplied for, my passport is out of pages, we have no place to live and need to move in 3 weeks - which can't be done before the visas are done, which takes extra time bc of Ramadan, and we're constantly living in fear of that phone call to say my sister-in-law didn't make it through the night. Plus we have to pay at least £45,000 in one check for our rent and his company is messing us around with the dates on the housing allowance so looks like we'll need to take out a loan to pay rent. Argh!!!! Back on my anxiety meds to help deal with the stresses. Saw myself relying on food (binge, much?) and booze again and said no, not this time. The hubby being away makes eating easier - no carbs in the house. Going out with friends tomorrow and already looked at the menu and decided what I'm having: grilled asparagus with a poached egg starter and mussels in a garlic/wine sauce for my main - no sides. We want to start trying for a baby once things calm down and I really want to prove to myself that I can get down to goal weight. How's everyone else doing?
