Bedford id be so happy with rivita and cream cheese mmmmmm I meant to be on 4 1/2 pints of milk and 2 pints sugar free squash ???? I'm only managing 2 pints milk whoooops! Mmmmmm cream cheese and rivita!! Fancy a swop?? Xxxx

Lol well I supposed to be eating 2 pints of milk, 1 snack and I meal. Will have to go back to milk for the surgery. I done drink two pints of milk. You can keep your milk. I will help u watch the kidnapping x

Ok it's a plan we need our surgery!! Can't believe I had my MDT in November!! It's gotta be my turn now?? Hasn't it lol?? I'm holding his surgical skills to ransom til he agrees ha ha ha! Awwww I so wish I had your diet Bedford!! So bored now xxx

Yeah but that was over a year ago hence why I keep being pushed back they had no up to date bloods or test results etc. had to literally redo everything since they realised at my MDT. Can't have no more put backs I been going for 15 months already (from first appointment) and was only on 6 month plan xx

I also went for 1st appointment in November 13, but I was told it was a year by Dr jain. I understand totally how u feel. A work agency rang me today and I don't know what to say about work. I only wish we knew. Well xbander has a five week wait. Keep seeing 2 weeks wait on forum. I have not had blood tests since August. Why can't we all follow the same path? X

It would be so much easier, I'd love them to say as ive been on milk diet last two weeks they can do it sooner rather than later as I'm going to come off for two weeks and then go back in :-( xxxxx

I don't now hun hence why I'm only doing 2/3 pints. I'm having to have it with coffee only as it's making me sick. I cannot wait to get some yogurt or soup it's going to be luxury xxxx

Thanks very much for ringing them this afternoon. I have been stressing myself out, thinking I can't wait much longer for my op. Like you it's been a long time coming for me too. I started my journey July 2012 - so it will be nearly three years when I have had my op.
Good idea about meeting up during the summer - that's if we are all done by then and can fit on the losers bench together.
By Xbanders date, looks as though I won't get done til April. Hoping to go off to Scandinavia in July for 2 to 3 months in our motorhome, so need to get the 6 week check up out of the way first and make sure everything is good before we go, not leaving much time is it?
I was told on Friday that someone would ring me Monday/Tuesday letting me know that everything was OK and give me a date to see surgeon, guess what, not heard anything. Should I ring them, what did you all do?

Yes I would ring them. It's amazing how our life's are on hold. My other half delayed his annual leave for two weeks in November last year to look after me for surgery . then he had too loose it because it starts from jan to dec x

Yeah ring them hun because they messed mine up they've tried really hard to catch up but you have to keep on top of it, just call them they are really good xxx

My partners doing his nut, he work on emergency gas leaks and explosions for national grid and doesn't get time off easily. He can only have certain times off in the year and if it's April or May I'll be home alone with a 9 and 4 year old. So hopefully they sort it out xx

Who do you ring and on what number - I have spoken to the secretary before and she has not been very accommodating.

I always just call 01582 497421 and speak to them unless I need to speak to the dietician then just ask for heather?? Maybe ask your dietician as mine booked my surgeon appointment and they can see the surgeons diary xxxxx
You folks thinking of meeting up , can anyone thing of a Carvery where we could all meet and sit and CRY ..........I do enjoy my carvery ,....must admit ........every time I turn tv on its a cooking programme .......some one UP THERE ......is testing me !!! You all say about milk diet ........I was put on it last year and in a month I only lost 8lb .........and yet I stuck to it and even found it easy .......dieticians werent impressed with weight loss , but dont know what else I could have done ......what have your weight losses been like on it ?
