Anyone under Luton & Dunstable hopsital

Crikey Claudia , thats great , not sure what happened to me then , perhaps il have better results on liquid diet pre-op . Must say all this pre-op dieting etc and meetings with dieticians and psycologists etc , I know a chap that went private and paid and had virtually none of this messing about .....he had a bit of a medical , signed his cheque and a couple of days later he had the op , said everything from start to finish took about a week ,
 
Can I ask do the doctors encourage or discourage people to use scales at home and weigh themselves , daily , weekly , fortnightly etc or not at all , looking at getting a set but dont want to waste money .......spose its got to be nice to see needle etc go down bit by bit , to encourage you more
 
Eemmmm think they say no more than once a week but recommend going boots and places like that. It gives you a digital print out of your weight etc.
 
I couldn't have that in the house, I know it wouldn't stay there. My poor grandchildren just have the choice of the fruit in the bowl. I did feel guilty at first but the last thing I want is for them to turn out like me.
 
Ha ha ha ha told you it's bad!! My children don't even eat like that!! WILL POWER!! I'm going to show my surgeon Thursday what I'm living with an how strong I'am!! Not one bit of chocolate or biscuits have passed my lips in a long time. It makes me feel sick looking at it all xxx

So I'm at the hospital ive passed my lung capacity test with flying colours was soooo easy and I had my weigh in, had to get down to 128.4kg and I'm now 127kg so really happy, now just waiting to se Dr Jain xx
 
How pissed off am i so ive been here done my other tests and now found out dr jain isnt even in and appointments were cancelled 3 weeks ago!! My appointment was only books 2 weeks ago!!! Now going to see another surgeon!! So so so angry!!

Oh god you've not had much luck :( what other surgeons are in? Dr Jain is normally in ever Thursday typical xx
 
He's off for half term back on the second so now being transferred to Dr whitelaw and got to come back on the 2nd but they are going to book me in for surgery mid March xxx
