Anyone under Luton & Dunstable hopsital

Yay I just had the nurse on the phone the soonest they can get me in for my pre op is the 17th!! 1 week before surgery lol!! I'm starting my milk diet on the 8th!! Oooooooo it's all becoming real now xxxxx
 
Three weeks Monday it will all be done, and three weeks wednesday for me, it will be here before you know it, very very exciting times
 
Ladies , all very exciting yes , im on 23rd as well , but lets not forget , Surgery is not a guarantee of instant weight loss , we have all got one hell of a journey ahead of us , many ups and downs along the way , but taking that first step with surgery will hopefully give us all the chance we have craved for yonks .......heres to a new body and new lives for all of us as we start our journey Xx
 
Yes its onwards and upwards though, as long as you follow instructions we should all be ok, hard work but worth it in the end, surgery is a tool to help us it's us that does the hard work.
 
Wow. Congrats all. I'm sure you worked really hard to get where you are now. The next step is just getting started. All the best with the surgery and your post op journey.

Can I ask when you all done the LCLD how long after did it take for everything else?

They told me 4 weeks milk diet. Back for weigh in (5%loss hopefully)... then a 2 week refeed plan and booked in to see surgeon at 2 weeks. After seeing surgeon they said surgery is about 2 weeks later. So all in all 8 weeks from starting LCLD

Is this realistic by your experiences? I have done my tier 3 in Essex and Ive seen nurse, consultant, dietician and psych... so just wanna see how it was for you all??
 
Honestly I wouldn't second guess any time scale at L&D. You could be whizzed through or not lol. Mines taken forever but others have gone through quickly hun. Xxx

Instant weight loss lol, I bloody hope not aswell I don't want to be a saggy sack lol!! Luckily I think being on the programme 17 months has got me well versed in weight loss surgery. I'm sexy and I know it lol!!! New bod here I come!! X

Look x bander! I got my hallway finished, I feel like I accomplished something, I did all the painting, glossing, wallpapered and laid my floor! Think I did well rolling around like a whale lol xxxx
 
Waw that looks FAB, you did very well, give yourself a pat on the back, and your not a whale, just have a bit of puppy fat which will all be gone soon :)
 
THANKYOU my lovelies, trying to get away from sitting on the sofa and keep myself busy. I also decorated my sons room this week in an American cars theme. He loves it luckily xx I'm just trying to come up with some low sugar, carb and fat cake recipes xxx
