Have had the call and here is a bed for me tomorrow, so packing my bags ready for an early start in the morning ! I know there is always the chance, and we have seen it happen before, that it could get cancelled on the day, and sometimes helps to think it might, as this is how I have got through the last week without going into panic mode about tomorrow ! But hoping to send my next message from the losers bench ! x x x
Has anyone heard from Lauren? X

Hi Guys Had a really busy weekend so unable to update. Had family round and I was cooking for most of the day with my mum. It was a bit hard not being able to eat the food I was cooking but fun to have something to do. I am bored at home, and fed up of feeling tired all the time. I made a few greek dishes with my mum which included stuffed vine leaves, stuffed (large) tomatoes and courgettes. Roast beef, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. For myself I roasted butternut squash and carrots added them to a vegetable stock, blitz them to make a smooth runny soup, it was delicious. I also had a protein shake called upbeat, they have 20g of protein. They are so much better then slimfast, which I found to be sickly sweet. I weighed myself on Saturday (1 week post op) and I have managed to loose 9 pounds. In total added with the pre op diet I have now lost one stone two pounds! I hope all is well with Lauren.xxx

So I'm finally home! It's soo good to be home. It was not quite as smooth as I thought it was going to be. When I had recovered I started vomiting blood ect, and found it hard to keep anything down Ended up being kept in bed until the next day. Yesterday I still couldn't keep any of the pain killers or anti acid down and had a long and tricky night sleep. I then got given an injection at about 3am which really helped me to sleep and woke up today feeling much better. I have so far kept everything down although 2/3 tea spoons is my limit ATM! I have a heated pillow which seems to do wonders for gassy back pain. Sent from my iPhone using WLSurgery
