Oooh that sounds lovely
I have moved on to purée today. I was getting concerned about all the carbs I am consuming. And they are making my hunger kick back in. So today I have had:-
5 tablespoons puréed chilli
Thick homemade veg soup half cup
5 tablespoons of corned beef and baked beans
5 tablespoons of my chicken dish I just cooked, it is yuuummmmeeee!
I cooked a whole chicken with a leek and 5 stalks of celery, cooked it slow for ages, like soup. Ten mins before the end I added in a full head of broccoli. I put half the stock aside, stripped the chicken meat and returned it to the pot with some of the stock and whizzer it all up. It is gorgeous. Low fat, virtually no carbs (about 25 in the whole pot) and really high protein
Then I shoved a good handful, of lentils into the small amount of stock I had left, cooked and whizzer them and have two pots of a wee lentil dhal type meal
What a domestic goddess!!! I have never cooked as much as I have these three weeks lol. But the freezer is bulging with tiny pits of food
So today I reckon carb wise I have had:
5 in the chilli
10 in my baked beans
5 max in my chicken
10 in my homemade veg soup
I will have a danio yoghurt later which will have 11.6
All comes in about 46 carbs. I would like to stay under 30 but until I can start eating real food it will be hard
I do not gave a clue how many calories are in my days eating, but with really small portions I am hoping not more than 800
Sharon. I looked at getting protein powder, but it was all flavoured or in huge tubs and I didn't want to spend thirty or forty pounds without knowing what it is like. Can you taste it in your food?
How great is it to look forward to food again. My relationship with food has actually changed already I think. I just keep thinking about the best way to get the nutrients in. Lindsay had offered to take me for a ice cream when we go down to the van tomorrow. I have declined as all I can think of is how much protein will it have in it. Lol. I may be tempted though. It's at an ice. Cream parlour in the middle of nowhere where, they have their own herd and milk them to make the most gorgeous ice cream I have ever tasted. It's called Drumuir farm.
