Well things are settling down as my son is out of hosp As for the hospital I am still nowhere nearer to getting a date for another fill, but I have been making enquiries regarding where I stand and what I am entitled too. First PALS , a waste of time, spoke with them Monday sed they would call me Tues that call didnt come , tried calling them Wed,Thurs and Today and all I get is the answerphone , Anyways I am one not too be deterred I call my PCT and she is going too look into what my "package" entails....she sed to me she thinks that it covers wiv lifetime aftercare with Nhs....so if that is true then the surgeons secretary is leading me up the proverbial garden path saying there isnt any funding for fills atm and I shall be going down the hospital (to wait all day if necessary) too see the surgeon and ask him to sort his staff out and stop telling her to fob me off (its not his fault btw, his done a fantastic job. But between the secretary/dietician and PALS they all fobbed me off.........Watch This Space Ppl lol - Thanks for your kind words Neen - Its most appreciated xx

I'm really pleased your boy is back home, that has to help a little..I wish I had some advice for you regarding your fills..you really have been messed about big time.

Just hope that this can be straightened out soon so you know where you stand in the future.
You have done awesome with actually living with your band and making a go of it and I hope I can get that self control you have as well.

I can definately see you reaching your goal whatever happens so keep going in spite of the problems x

Thanks once again Neen - I will keep going despite all of my personal issues - Not just because I have too but because I want this too work and I wont let it beat me, I decided to listen too my body and not cut down my portion sizes as the dietician suggested , as Cazbandy pointed out on that particular day I would have been on 400 calories How ever I am going to cut back on the carbs like she pointed out. If need be I will pay private for my fills - I know I shouldnt have too but once I get all the info I need from Pct I shall be in a better position to where to go from here on in . Thanks once again - I do love this thread

My best friends sister in law makes customer made corsets...and can do them distance as well....she tells you how to measure and can make ANY SIZE...she's a big girl...so knows how to sort out the sizes....I can see if I can get her url and post it for you....if you like.....


Julie- wow that sounds like such a mess around. You must have the patience of a saint...cuz I know I my foot would be firmly up everyone bums...I can assure you. But I really hope you can get some answers soon. You have done such a great job so far and are coping well...so fingers crossed they speed up the help and answers for you.

What is PALS?

My problem...will be once I need my fills is getting back and forth as my hospital is 3.5 hours drive away.....that is just there....so 6 hours drive for a fill...with baby and son in toe...not fun....and costly...it costs me about £60-£70 in petrol just to go to the hossy....but it will be worth it in the end I know it will.

I'm glad to hear that determination Julie! The band is such a good op for you, seems to really suit you so well and I know you can do it!
You obviously have been doing things well for yourself personally to have lost so much already.

I think we all have to tweak how to use the band to suit ourselves...a lot of trial and error but how brilliant when we find the right combination!
I am just hoping that you don't need to worry about too many more fills and adjustments from now on anyway!

He's actually mad cuz he says he has been having a crap diet since I went on the milk diet cuz he has no reason to eat healthy or to make a proper meal....so, it's my fault...*LOL* NOT!!!

Once I can eat again he will be better on himself...and hopefully me....

Neen....stockings...they do some for larger legs....the ones I had just rolls down my legs *LOL*.....but it you get a suspender belt...they will hold up better than the hold up ones.... I reckon my DH misses all my "nice clothes" but tbh, i don't feel so sexy at my weight....I know once I lose more...I will be the sexy, vampy, dominating, Jenn all over again!!

Yeah we are talking about chips....he is honestly my own at home gordon ramsey...he should be a chef..honestly. His chips are always part boiled first...and then put in a colander and covered so they steam themselves dry....then they will go in the freezer for a while then fried....and then chilled again and then fried again....they come out uber crispy. They are gorgeous....but you can see why we don't eat them very often. A lot of work involved.

I have a curry supremo here! But I just love food anyway (pointing dejectedly to thighs)

I have eaten chips literally a couple, since my band and they get stuck really easily...
Trust me if you get them stuck and end up jetisoning them into the nearest loo, it's suprising how they lose their appeal thereafter!

I have just been looking on ebay at partay dresses....I am not going to make it into one for this Christmas but I have a few I like style wise for next year hopefully.

I love this one (even better if it was a deep blood red) I guess I could wear it with a little shoulder bolero thingie
