Neen ...Did you manage the treadmill? My mum did atkins for a while years ago when it first came out and felt she did really well so it may be one of my things for the future :) .. its certainly one ive never tried.

Rache .... Hope you got on ok at the hospital this morning :)

My OH hasnt said anything today but ive been trying to find out some info .. input would be fab :)

Ok so we have narrowed it to 2 companies
company one offer fab after care but no insurance to cover if anything happens in hospital such as ICU etc ...
company 2 offer this insurance but their aftercare isnt for as long.

Ive been trying to find out what company one actually offer as in insurances and all i can find out is that the surgeon gives his own 30 day cover for anything he classes as minor. She says she will find out about other covers and get back to me.

Did any of you have insurance in with your packages if you went private ?

I have Carpal Tunnel in both hands it seems. It was a most amusing test with my hands involuntarily twitching all over the shop :) got to hear from my doctor now as to what is to be done about it all.
Managed some Corned Beef hash yesterday which was Heaven after all that soup :) back on my bike today :)

Neen great stuff on the walking :) i used to love the treadmill at the gym i just used to plug my ipod in and away i went, supposed to be on there for 10 mins and i used to do half hour lol ...

Rache that test must have felt so weird,I hope you dont have to wait to long for the doc to get back to you.

Im working this morning and then off into town to pay in some cheques and go and buy myself some fitflops after my weekend of umminn and arrrin ....
also having a look at a top my OH took a photo of for me, he has never ever done that! so if its cheap enough i may well buy it as my "post op" top ;)..

Ive not heard anything back about my question from the surgery group so will ring them before i go to work.

i have shape ups from skechers ....i found they make no difference but i did constantly have a pain in my left foot which now i hardly get.
 
oo magic i ordered some of those to try and they fit alot better i dont have any over hang altho they dont seem as cushiony as the fitflops i think im going to keep them..

Ive been into town and i looked at that top my OH took a photo of and it is lovely, its a size 14 though and the only one left, Its pure silk and was reduced from £46 to £24 ..
I walked out and left it, hes since txt me and told me to buy it ... does this mean hes agreeing? .... cos im a size 20 lol ...

oh to have a definate yes lol

i have also spoken to the lady from the surgery place and they dont offer any insurance other than the 30 day minor care from surgeon, altho she did say that people usuallly get a E111 form from the post office which is somthing to do with medical care abroad.
Has anyone heard of these ?

cant help with E111 forms..im a bit rubbish with that sorta thing! when u thinking of getting it done?
 
Ooooo exciting ;) just booked an appointment to have some minx nails put on ... spending some birthday money and with whats left i am going to buy that top and some sexy black undies to go under it ;) that should have some effect and leave it hanging on the wadrobe door lol

Well Royal Mail must be boycotting me after I complained - I have had no post in days and a repeat prescription which was sent days ago has not turned up:(. I have 3 parcels sent by Amazon which have not been delivered - will have to make another trip to the sorting office when I get in from work tomorrow.

I had to go into work today and I have to go to London on Thursday which I could do without right now. BUT the hospital rang me and I am booked in on Friday. At least they are taking things seriously - sometimes it pays for them to regard you as a trouble maker:D. It is not a route I normally advocate but when it comes to your health there is no room for being nice;).

I feel terrible but knowing I can see someone on Friday is a huge worry temporarily lifted.

Dean was up in Crawley today and I think I must have missed him (usually works from home) and I was definately nibbling a lot more than normal I'm sure.
Have got some updates on the Atkins thread and hopefully some useful snippets x
