Very pleased with the 2lbs off this week for two reasons - a) I had been out a couple of evenings to eat with friends and b) from all my past weight loss attempts I have held in my mind that 2lbs a week is a "steady" consistent weight loss and this is the first week in the last 13 weeks where I have lost just that amount (always been more than that) - so strangely, the 2lbs figure makes the whole loss thing a little "more in control" in my mind...

Ask me next week if I feel the same when I don't lose anything...

I've lost 38lbs in total 7 weeks (inc 2 wk pre op), up to thursday of last week, and 4 lbs off my 3 stone target with another stone to reach my Xmas target . . .so all is going well

I'm 12 stone 9lbs today so that's 4lbs off this week following another pesky stall. I'm pleased. That brings my weight loss to 8 lbs since the start of this challenge which whilst not earth shatteringly brilliant is slow and steady in the right direction. I doubt very much that I'll meet my original Christmas target but you never know.
It's inspiring seeing how well everyone is doing and how fantastically support is given and received.
You're brill you lot- just in case you don't know it !!
