Lol femfrankie! Not near calorific intake!!!!

Think I may have had 100 calories today!!!

Anyone got a swollen abdomen? My guts feel bloated!!!
But on the plus side!!!! I have two more tablets I can take tonight ?
I don't normaly like to take tablets. But these do help :)
 
Rose I am like you in that I have never bought convenience food preferring to cook from good wholesome fresh foods ... I just used to eat too much of it :D . Hubby is a real fussy eater so I just wouldn't get away with it and to be honest we are both so glad with the recent horse meat scandal unless our local butcher is in on it too lol hehe... I remember years ago when our freezer broke my middle son was ecstatic ..he said ..that's great now we can get some real food .. Puzzled we asked him what he meant. Well he said we can now get burgers, crispy pancakes & chicken nuggets hahaha... His wish was not granted may I say lololn

But I'm so ready to be much better tomorrow
Going to walk the long way back from the school and try some house work :)

I had my first of the support sessions today. It's interesting. I am looking forward to the process.
 
Not really, I could hear myself making excuses. They have given me a list for my first six weeks and I was straying. Like root veggies
etc It's not only about calories but the affects of digestion of those calories. The induction of insulin release etc. :sigh:

Don't think there is much out there that would be harder!!!!
Mabey u need to mix things up? Food wise?
Eat different things every day!
I started exercising before I ate in the morning so the energy being used is the fat I don't want. Then eat within half hour of exercise, coz the calories will burn off faster!
 
Mix it up???? I gather you have not seen the six week diet then!!!

I'm alergic to caffeine, wheat, gluten, dairy, Chochlate and a few more!!!!
So I will be calorie counting all by myself!
 
Are you not getting any support from aurelia? The whole therapy part is included in the package I got. Main reasons I went with nosc.
 
They have me food guide lines and that but they don't suit my allergies so I have to look after that myself.
The coordinator rang me today for a chat and said he will ring me every day this week.

That was the main reason I decided to have it done here! Support!.
Fingers crossed I will be able to eat something by the end of the week :)
 
Since I'm going for the bypass the old rule of fill up on veggies is a no no.... Lean Protein first, then veggies and if you happen to have any space left maybe then a little carbs... But preferably no carbs.... Every bodies Heath care varies of course but for bypassers I believe that is the norm. xx
 
My belly is so sore today!!!! I look 6 months pregnant!!!! Anyone got any ideas on how to fix it?
Having a cup of cold peppermint tea, coz I can't drink it warm!!!
Help please :)
 
I'm exactly the same today. Peppermint tea is good hot or cold CB. I'm trying to move a bit more today which is not easy when your hurting. For me though the majority of my ""hurt"" is abdominal. The stomach area is gripey but bearable and not as swollen as it has been but lower down I look like a telly tubby if you know what I mean. TMI WARNING ... I have not had a poo for a week now which is hardly a wonder since nothing solid apart from "that porridge" has passed my lips since Wednesday night.. But wonder if that's why I'm in agony. So as I say I'm trying to move a bit more to try and get my insides working again. If you are worried CB contact your provider for reassurance. ;). xx

I've been moving much more this morning and I think taking my mind off it has paid off!!!

Yea the pain is in my intestines mostly today. I'm sure it will pass, just good to know I'm not the only one like this :)
 
Glad your feeling a bit better :). I have just mashed down an overripe plum and ate a half of it .. Plums usually work wonders for me. Not sure half will work though as I'm used to eating three or four at a time :rotflmao:. Planning on a couple of spoons of baked beans for lunch later. Xx
 
Yea I had a sliming tea and that worked for me. U will deffo feel better when you have gone!!!
I spoke to the coordinator and he said ye it's all normal. Keep on a liquid diet and take meds!
It is getting easier! Although I'd love to be able to forget about the bad foods!
Don't have any sweets or anything in the house but I'd love something! But I won't do it.......
